  i found on another thread a quote from awake 1967 aug 22,page 27-28. it's from an article where the wt proves that women should acquiesce to their husbands.

  within the article i found something that suggests more intellectual dishonesty from the wt writers.. that it is in the best interests of both.

  sexes for man to take the lead is also supported.

  My son is a gay exJW. Been with his partner 19 years. They legally married Dec. 31. I who was a 3rd gen born in chose him over a God who teaches hate.

  i was 13yo and largely clueless to what was going on.

  i think i remember hearing something about an apostate being weeded out of bethel but really couldn't have cared less.

  i didn't start getting zealous until a couple of years later.. .

  I was 32 at the time. It wasn't discussed much in conversation but I do remember my sister whispering it to me during the Watchower study. I don't remember anyone else mentioning it.

  Almost invitied but not quite. Two girls about 12 or 13 came to the door asked if I spoke Spanish, I answered no and was told all their literature was in Spanish.

  Spring Break! JW kids... Get to WORK!

  while at my local gas station/convenience store this morning, satisfying my caffeine craving with a big cup of iced tea, i saw 3 separate teams of jw's on their way out into field service.. i wasn't sure at first, but after walking past the car and seeing a young boy i remember from the kh, wearing his suit and tie, it became apparent.

  if he and the man escorting him (vaguely familiar to me, but not his father) had not been glaring at me with daggers in their eyes, i might have approached and said hello.

  he and my daughter used to play together, even though she does not remember him at all.

  does anyone gave experience with a puppy that nipps/mouths consistently?

  i got a puppy a week ago, i tryed everything, he mouths a lot, its not aggesive, but he's 3 months and 37 pounds so it does not ticlke lol.

  not sure of the point of telling my story, but just got off the phone with my grandma and i am so angry, stressed and i don't know what else...i guess i just wanted to hear from someone other than my husband that i'm not crazy for my reaction to family interaction.. my condensed story gramatical errors and all :).

  father was a born in jw, mother was a convert.

  i was born the last of 3 siblings and shortly after my birth in 1981 my parents divorced.
