Brother Foghorn and Brother Siren's competition of who can talk the longest without taking a breath use to drive me insane. Did they ever listen to anything each other said or were they each a sound board for each other? As I waited in the car, I dreaded it when my husband said "I have to have a word with Foghorn and Siren", "Honey, will you get a word in because they both are bubbling over now". I watch my husband wait for his chance to talk without success, Foghorn and Siren are turning blue as oxygen deprevation slows their conversation down but still their volume is loud. My husband hand's them each a paper and decide's it's best to call them each by phone because they will never shut their mouths to listen to anyone. These are the two brothers who wave their hands franticly while any little brother or sister is making a comment on the Watchtower. I hated the way their hands spun wildy around like a wind-mill during a hurricane.
Foghorn and Siren are pissed off at the Watchtower Conductor if he does not call them no less than five times. Try getting these two to speak less than thirty seconds, I think the Watchtower Society changed the format of the WT Study because these brothers could speak for five minutes on one breath. Yes, these brothers pissed me off every meeting because they would ask "How are you doing" and start to speak nonstop before I could say "I am fine, how are you?"

Faithful brothers pre-1919 were part of the "John the Baptist" Class. If Cedar's is correct and the July 2013 magazine has the new Governing telling everyone that lovable Pastor Russell was not part of the Faithful Slave, will any of the witnesses be angry?
The magazine is troubling because nothing this Faithful Slave say's ever sticks! I do not think Jesus would be happy that the Watchtower is putting these men above the Apostles, the Early Church Fathers and all faithful Christians who lived before 1919. Really, what is special about the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses versus all faithful men and women of the past? How many Governing Body members do you know who gave up their life, sold every good they had and lived with the poor to preach Jesus by example? We won't ever accuse the modern day Governing Body of humility, these guys are always bragging they are "the greatest among their brothers" Luke 9:46-48:

The minining industry is hurting for help in the Northern States, when I get more posting priviledges I can explain why some great jobs are in North Dakota, South Dakota. Why do we bring in help from other countries when our citizens and residents are unemployed. Where are you willing to move to make more money, some of these companies have generous plans with health and retirement. Now that I am the "mark", I woud like some advice on, not so kindly telling this sister "I helped you last year and you offered me nothing, not even a fricken "Thank You Card'!
With my business I am use to various tasks of all opperations of the business, the sister has money to hire a consultant to help her clean up her mess, but think's I should be the one to use my free time (I work ten hours a day, service and meetings burn up the rest of my feeble life). I feel stupid I opened up Pandora's Box and she will not stop calling my house. How can I stop the user from bothering me, she is telling the friends at the Kingdom Hall I owe her help, she has a reputation for burning through people's time without ever offering a penny!
How would you put a end to this, I feel like Dumby for helping her in the first place, instead of keeping my mouth shut while she whined and whimpered about her money and husband problems, out jump's the words "I can help you." I thought it would take only a few hours, because of her needy nature it took hours and hours of time, because she could not understand the simple explanations I used, I started to use Crayolas with Sock puppets leading to more time to sit down and hold her hand through a easy business process. How do I destroy the Frankenstein of endless phone calls, letters and complaints to the elders that "Aunt Connie promised to help me and now she is hiding from me!" I helped her once, and told her to find someone else and she won't leave me alone. I wish I could say '' off!.

I have some things we use to dump on newbie JWs, hubby is great at guilting rising stars of the importance of owning their own for real "bound volumes", treasures future elders can hold in their hands (instead of Xbox,Sony or Wii-game controllers) to fill their Witness Library (or else these treasures might end up in the dump, my husband get's a tear in his eye until the young brother finally decides to put the apple and orange boxes full of dustry B.V.s in his small apartment.) making them a potential "celebrated watchtower scholar candidate". Sadly I heard some of you have decided to use the "bound volumes" as filling for your pet hamsters or rabbits. The paper the Society used make's a great filling for your "cat litter box" too.

I wonder how many prophets of old, first and second century christians spent most of their time finding ways to avoid making contact with human beings? The sister who ate and drank (boy, can she swallow or chug it down!) at our Memorial spends most of her time driving in circles and she return's to the same visits over and over each week to fluff her hours! What make's her worthy of ruling over the angels and mankind? The biggest hardship she encounters is staying at a Motel 6 every year at the District Convention, poor thing can tell the Apostle John and Paul how rough she had it and how diffucult it was to eat a Continential Breakfast instead of a Traditional Buffet Breakfast with Crepes and Waffles and a Omlette Bar.
