I have not watched the video nor will I. let me put this into perspective. What would happen if a man traveled through a black hole? Answer. It doesn't &$@!ing matter. The man would no longer exist. There would be no way to see him or communicate with him. In the second law of thermodynamics we learn the man will never come out and no part of him will ever be provable again. Physics is only physics if it can be proved until that point in time it is just someone's stupid idea. Please stop reading Huffington Post articles on science or youtube videos on science and placing any value to them. If one wants to learn a subject read a text book or a peer reviewed article.

MAS370 - Was it a Remote Hijacking?
by fulltimestudent inprofessor kevin barrett is not exactly the most trusted commentator you could find, but that, of course, just maybe because, there are people who want his views on 9/11 to be ignored.. anyway he's advanced a theory that the missing malaysian airlines plane was remotely hi-jacked.
in the absence of other evidence, it just maybe what happened.
to consider whether it did happen, we need to ask why it may have been hijacked?

I am now dumber for having read this. So, let me get this straight. Some one remotely hacked the SAS (stability agumentation system),AFCS (airframe flight control system), autopilot, or fadec(Full authority digital engine controls) To crash the airplane. First off an airplane can be flown without any of these systems. All the pilots would have to do would be to turn of the systems. They could have done this with the power buttons, fuses,or control buses. It might not be comfortable but pilots train for these types of emergencies all the time. These systems are isolated and protected from each other. No way this could happen period. Worst case scenario would be to turn them off and fly anyway. (All except the fadec which I'm sure is a redunant system on this aircraft.). honestly my money would be on the zombie theory before this.

I have always wanted to travel to Rio for Carnival. This morining I was reading an editorial on Carnival that showed pictures of this years events. Wow Beautiful. I remember being raised as a JW and being told about the dangers of modesty. First off, I think Brazilian women are some of the most beautiful women in the world. It is funny. I can look at this pictures and guess what? I feel no need to have sex with anyone. I didn't lose control of myself. It makes me think about the well being of a person who can not look at a true art form and not destingiush the difference between sexuallity and beauty. Are JW's so messed up they can't see the difference. Makes me think that this religion brings in pervs by the basket fulls so people can feel safe against emotions they can not control. It's like looking at a greek statue. It's not sexual. It's art. That is atleast my humble opinion.
Also, what's up with the worlds thing with tiny women who look like teenagers. I am a man not a boy. I think a woman should look like a woman not a child. Do a google search for "beautiful American woman" and you get pictures of under devoloped way too skinny GIRLS. Do a google search of "beautiful Brazilian women" and watch out dangerous curves ahead. I think this is truly sick. Why do we as Americans sexualize a body image that is child like? Think about it. We have a whole generation of men who think women should look like teenagers, and a whole generation of women who try to look like something they are not supposed to look like. How many times have you heard a woman complain about her body. You look at her and think, "No, your beautiful. You don't look like a teenager anymore because you're not, but that's not a bad thing".
Sorry for being Random it's what happens when I have free time.

What science has left UNTAUGHT!
by abiather inwhen one goes deep into the science, there are things that suggest the existence of immortal soul or a caring supreme soul.
hence, the question is not about lack of proofs, but is all about whether one is willing to accept or not (mathew 11:14).
let us take some samples:.

"When an electron is excited from the valence band to the conduction band, it is considered as annihilated in the former and created in the later. Thus something which decays reappears again elsewhere. "
Wow!!!! Maybe you should reseach this on your own. Your key word will be lattice And ladder.
The word "considered" means a lot in this sentence. As it is a means for mathematical manipulation. Just as the + and - signs on a battery do not mean one terminal has a positive value and one terminal has a negative value. The words left and right could be substituted. It is simply arbitrary and is used as a tool for understanding. If I were you I wouldn't rely on a religion to find science. I don't know what your science background is and I don't want to degrade your efforts, why don't you read up on the conservation of energy.

What is it with teens/adults and dependency on everyone else?
by punkofnice ini've seen a lot of this lately here in the uk, where teens and young adults still depend on their parents when they live away from home.. some just don't seem able to earn enough.

Interesting post. I agree with some of your points. I think where you went to school matters, but not as much as a few decades ago or atleast in my field. After an engineer sits for his or her PE certificate, no one seems to care anymore. If a guy went to MIT, everyone will know it, but I know of MIT engineers who are horrible at their jobs. I would guess more than half of the top engineering schools in the United States are State Schools. I wouldn't put Harvard in the top 20 of engineering schools personally.
Yes, the Military's main role is to fight wars, however some of the most advanced technologies are used to do this today. If someone joins the Military and wants to be a war fighter there are assignments that lean more to that aspect of warfare. I have a gentleman who works for me who joined the Navy as a teenager. He became a communications specialist and went to school part time with the Navy until he qualified for OCS. He became an Officer and an engineer. He worked for 20 years and became a Lt.Col and recieved a nice comfortable retirement. He was the youngest of 6 brothers from a poor family and could have never gone to school. He had a plan and used the system to his advantage.
In my field, the level of training has changed. In the 1960's some really smart people from Houston put men on the moon with slide rules and equations. Most engineers today do not have the level of proficiency with basic engineering skills entry level engineers had a few generations ago. However, most entry level engineers are much better with newer techniques than the older engineers. It's kind of a trade off in my mind. Personally, I would rather have a guy who was more experianced at current pratices than a guy with really strong old school practices. I think putting these guys together on projects is a great way to solve the gap.
Yes, I think students today are more career oriented. I think it has to be that way. The work force is getting more and more specialized with each and every passing generation. I would love to see a college catalog from the 1950s and compare it with one from today. I bet the catalogs of today are a lot thicker than the 1950s.
As far as the young ones being lost, I had a young senior level engineering student who didn't know how fractions worked with bolt sizes last summer. Some as[ects of learning have fallen over the years and some have gone up. I think colleges should focus on skills based training rather than broad general knowledge. Yes, I do think an engineer should be able to right a proper sentence. (as this submission shows I can not) However engineers should be exposed to more hands on training than happens now. I do not care if an engineer can tell the difference between a Mozart and Tchaikovsky, buy I think he should know a half inch bolt is not a 8/16ths bolt.
Your right. Children should have nothing handed to them. If you buy a child a $200.00 pair of shoes they will ruin them in the first week, because they have no appriciation for the value. If you make children work and earn the $200.00 pair of shoes, they will baby them and take care of them for as long as the shoes still fit, because they understand the value.
SDS and Black Panthers. WOW! I bet you would be an interesting person to share a beer with.

As jgnat did my younger children have been given freedom with their money. They make their own choices. However if they come back as adults they're going to catch Hell. My wife and I have worked too hard to have to raise them as adults. We are going to enjoy our time after the kids are gone. They can enjoy their lives. BTW I am raising women who will rule the world one day. I am not worried at all About my daughters.

Why not military? I no longer prescribe to the idea that military service is evil. In fact, soldiers from the roman era where the first Non Jewish Christians. Every adult Roman was required to be a solder. Why not serve ones country? There is no biblical or moral evidence to not be a soldier only made up rules by modern Christians. I would be proud of my children for serving our country. I would be one of those wierd people with the "proud to be a soldiers parent" sticker on their car. To each his own I guess.
As far as me controlling their money, yes if you live in the house I pay for you don't get to blow your money on 100 dollar hair cuts, 200 dollar shoes drinks with your friends, nice steak dinners, or any other stupid items people spend money on. I will save your money for you and "help" you learn money management skills so you don't have to live with me. I make enough money on my own I don't need theirs it is not to take there money. It is for the purpose of making them uncumfortable. If you give some one a comfy chair they will sit all day give them a metal chair and they won't sit long.
Like I said,"you want to put on the big girl panties wear them"

Past, now, future. It doesn't change.
My girls have three choices in life.
1. Leave my house after high school graduation and you are on your own. If you want to put on your big girl panties wear them.
A. If you have to return to my house, your life will not be easy. You will work, cook, clean, and be a productive member of the house hold just like I am. I start my day at 5:00am and work until around 8:00 pm. If you don't like it stand on your own two feet and live by your rules.
B. If you live in my house, I will open an account with my name on it for your check to go into. I will decide how you spend your money not you. Again if you don't like it move out.
2. Go to college and I will help you through to your graduation.
A. If I am helping you it means you have not assumed the role of an adult. You will have to submit grades and attendance records to me. I will not waste my money throwing you a 4 year party.
B. I will not pay for any degree that doesn't have an employable value. We will do a monster.com search and see if your choice is a viable one. I don't give a shirt if you really, really love to dance. I will not pay for a dance education. If you want to do English lit. You will have a plan to become a teacher.
3. You may join the military.
A. I will help you for two years while you adjust to military life. I have no qualifications for this as Sargent some where will take care of that for me.
As far as people making excuses for this behavior it is sickening. Why do you protect your adult children from life? Because it makes YOU feel better. Period.
You want to protect your emotions rather than giving them a fair shot at life. It's horrible parenting. As far as being to expensive to live in an area. Move to Starkville, MS and you can go to Mississippi State for $3,000.00 per semester. You can deliver Pizzas, live frugally and make it happen. Work harder, and stronger than everyone else and you will rise to the top. If you choose not to work hard become poor and don't bitch about what you deserve because you got exactly what you deserve. How do I know hard work wins? I did it. I was cut off from my family when I was very young. I have lived in my car, a barn, and a friends garage. I went hungry, I struggled, and sacrificed. It made me the man I am today. It was a f$&king adventure. I will not shelter my children from the most important lesson I can teach. I love them too much.

Elder and i discussed beards, and got into rules and regulations
by Jon Preston induring a study the elder brought out that eating blood and omens are from the devil, and brought me to leviticus 19:26 (i think).. in verse 27 i says this:.
you must not shave the hair on the side of your head or disfigure the edges of your beard.. i said: "so why are we not allowed to have beards?".
elder: "thats a good question, cleric.

My thoughts on beards.
1. My wife finds it attractive. That's all the reason I need. I do not like women with hairy legs or hairy arm pits. My wife grooms herself for my taste why shouldn't I so how reciprocity.
2. My children love my beard. Since they were little they would rub it and run their fingers through it for comfort.
3. I love my beard. It throws people off when they see a big dude in a nice suit with a nerdy bow tie. People never forget me.
As far as in beards in the business world argument, WTBS always uses here are some examples.
Rick Rubin (Columbia Records CEO)
Larry Elison (Oracle)
James Simon (hedge fund manager)
Gary Parr (hedge fund manager)
Carlos Slim (richest man in the world)
