Who of you ever lied on your field service reports?

i've read a few people mention making up the figures for the field service reports, and i want to find out how common it is.

i never lied on my report.

sometimes i'd round up 15 minutes if i'd mentioned jw stuff to my brother that month, but that wasn't falsifying.

Sure, I do that. I started as diligent, stop watch by the minute. First door I took until the last. Then I figured that I was being penalized if someone else got the first door and was in for a long time so I started counting at the first house the car took. Then there are so many that have the "call next to the Hall" to get their time started. It just seems so fake. But in my last year of pioneering, I didn't even add up all of the hours and was less than the 1000. I decided that it was not important. There was this group of sisters that would go out together and stop and break for hours.

With there so much talk about obedience, I decided what if one is disobedient and didn't turn in FS reports. So I stopped. When the CO came, the secretary said to me that he didn't have my reports but knew that I was out as he saw me. So I just made up numbers to give him. The next visit I did the same thing.

Many would say it is dishonest. But it is not like it is a time clock and we are getting paid. Back in the Day, time was important because pioneers got meal tickets and literature discounts, but now that is not there. What do pioneers and Aux's get? meetings with the CO?

Do people really think that Jehovah notices or cares? Think about it!!!!!! Jehovah pays attention and is going to punish people for exaggerating their hours on FS report but hurricanes and tornadoes destroy towns and people go around and shoot many, does Jehovah know or care or do anything about that?

WTS vs. Star Trek

star trek claimed to be fantasy and in fact, was fantasy.. wts claims to be the sole truth on earth and in fact, is fantasy.. star trek had spock who solved problems with logic.. wts has a gb who solves problems with bullshit.. star trek had a pompous ass charismatic leader whom everyone loved to watch rant and emote.

wts had three pompous ass charismatic leaders whom everyone hated to watch rant and emote.. captain kirk was always saving his people from new disasters.. wt leaders are always leading its people into new disasters.. star trek made money by always giving its fans the stuff they wanted.. wts makes money by always charging its fans for stuff neither they nor anyone else else wants.. people had fun when star trek came on.. people would rather have a root canal when meetings come on.. star trek was all about making the cosmos a better place for all.. wts is all about making the cosmos a better place for a few and killing everyone else.. people love to go to star trek conventions.. people would rather be in an earthquake than go to wts conventions.. star trek had a transporter room.. people in meetings wish they also had a transporter room.. star trek had lots of insane villains.. wts had judge rutherford and fred franz.

same thing.. star trek also had lots of good guys.. good guys are banished from the wts.. star trek had the klingons who spoke a bizarre language.. wts had fred franz who spoke an even more bizarre language.. star trek had all sorts of devices which could cure most any medical problems, but of course, they were science fiction.. wts had the electronic radio biola which it sold and said could cure most any medical problem, but of course, that was science fiction.. star trek had floppy disks, computers you could talk to and flat screen monitors all of which were about 50 years ahead-of-their time.. wts had vaccines which were called "filthy animal pus", humans hearts which were the seat of all emotions, organ transplants which were cannibalistic, human personalities which were also transferred with blood transfusions and black people turning white by reading their literature, all of which were 100 years behihd-their-time.. if you missed a few star trek episodes in a row, no one came by to harrass you.. if you miss a few meetings in a row, you are in deep shit.. star trek tv shows and movies are still played all the time, even after 47 years.. wts dramas never even play a second time.

Is Bethel Full Of Governing Body Ass Kissers?

when we see the massive layoff of bethel one could naturally ask which ones survived this brutal treatment by the governing body?

i'm sure ass kissers got a more favorable vote by the governing body to stay than the run of the mill hard valuable worker.. while all in the legal team got to stay as they are not required to kiss the governing body's ass(as much) but save it from lawsuits they are faced with.. what say you?

this a partial part of my opinion.. i wonder how much ass kissing, or ego stroking actually goes on once one becomes a member of the gb, i'm sure the ones the governing body keeps closest to them are their best ass kissers it goes along with the narcissistic personality disorder's territory in which he chooses to rome..

It sounds like you are asking that when one becomes one of the GB, does that one do any ass kissing? Like the supreme court they are appointed for life for good behavior. It doesn't matter what they do .

What is telling is that since the 1990s, not only has the program cover changed to monocolor and bland, but the format of the program stays the same but the theme changes.

And when the above site was started around 2006 there were many audio programs listed from various conventions, but since 2009 announcement about recording the DC for private use only, sharing must have gone down as people must be obedient to the direction of the FDS. The reality is that if people are able to download the conventions and assemblies then they won't see the need to go, then if they don't go, they won't be walking by the contribution boxes and feel the urge to put something in.

They are going through the same problem that the RIAA had with file sharing. They are trying to get a new business model to where they can sell their info.

A Different View of "Peace and Security"

since the wt this week has the prediction of a "peace and security" event, i thought i would include a comment from the new american commentary (nac, d. michael martin, pp.159-60) on 1 thessalonians 5:2, 3.. here is the wt's position, according to this week's wt study (sep 2012 study edition, pp.3 4):.

1 th 5:2, 3 is a "future development.".

it happens "just before that day of jehovah.".

There is no fricken cry or declaration of peace and security. The WTS has been getting that wrong over the years.

They just like generating excitement for scripture.

What Paul meant was that the events would be unexpected. That is why he said it would be like a thief in the night.

He got his analogy from Babylon surrounding Jerusalem, then leaving for Egypt then coming back and destroying Jerusalem.

Paul was reflecting on the past. People don't understand that Paul was not a prophet, he was not inspired to tell the future.

So what difference does it make what he says. He is just a guy who studied Israel history.

what is christian activity used in every other paragraph?

The title is wrong as Jesus is not coming to the earth.

And everyone goes to hell at death.

JWs do not deny Jesus and no one is burning in hell.

And why do people get stuck on this Jesus not being mediator thing?

The non-anointed don't need him as a mediator as nothing is mediated.

Adn the bread and wine were only for the 11 with him.

4 years ago: the CO opinion about memorial invitation

4 years ago the co in our congregation turned down in the most direct manner the invitation for the memorial by internet.. brothers who say "we can invite the public for the memorial by internet" are apostates, they are acting against the brothers of christ.. today the wts invites every one by using jw.org.. the next time i see this co, i will confront him with his idiot verdict.

The real problem with Watchtower.

a topic on here about 1975 prompted me to write about how, for me, that is and never was or will be an issue.. also, the 144,000 and 'two classes' with memorial partaking, and child abuse are not issues with this religion.

everyone has their unique teachings and personnel problems.. the real problem with this religion was highlighted in the 2008 yearbook.

it gave a story of a young woman who was from estonia who was on the equivalent of american idol for estonia.

My wife is like that but I don't think it has to do with mediatorship or 144,000. Many like her are like the Nazi's; obedient by just following orders,without thinking or questiong. The obedience is what is valued.

Bingo. Couldn't have said it better myself. I just don't see how I can sell or advocate this religion that has nothing to offer but stunted growth.

While watching the Oscars I thought of how people can be that some day, but not us. Prince was a presenter for the Grammys, but that is an oddity. He was famous before he became a Witness.

Things are even so bad that I know of a brother that played piano at the assembly hall, but then the DO wanted all music to be recorded from the Society.

If they had aspirations and ambition to escape they would do so, hurting the owners. So the owners keep the slaves dumb to keep them slaves. Tobacco pickers, invitation distributors. Neither takes skills. Those with skills would would choose to do neither.
