im a liceinced electrician now working in wireless communication installations.i love the electrical industry, there is so much to learn and so many different things do work with and technology is always changing.never a boaring day especially when we are working in the office buildings downtown, chicks everywhere!.
I have had many occupations throughout the years but mostly, I've been an electrician. I have my own company now which means I make less than I ever did. There are some good perks though. Whenever I start feeling a little crazy, I just shock myself. Shock Therapy is free in this trade!
i read all these posts (mainly by a couple of cuddly norwegians) about how the us needs to get it's act together, then there's a flurry of ripostes, the occasional nasty dig, a few generalisations and then the whole thing peters out until some bright spark feels the urge to start off the mischief once again.. well, im sick and tired of belonging to a perfect race and living in a perfect country.
the uk obviously has the best economy, the best soccer teams, the best monarchy, the best teeth, the best cuisine, the best weather, the best tv, the best armed forces, the best penal system, the best paranoids,.
i was even a full time pioneer with small children and i used to drag my kids with me from door to door, in the heat of summer and in the cold of winter.
goin from door to door in buildings where crime was rampant and where i should not have been in the first place.
Ok I don't know the percentages but there is German Scotish Cherokee Hillbilly
Foreigner described me best though in their song "Dirty White Boy". My family filmed the pilot for the Jerry Springer Show. We had outhouses at the kingdom hall in Arkansas.
Ask your son about the dangers of online Gaming. You start out with the easy levels. That's how they get you hooked. Then you have to spend more and more time just to keep up. Before you know it you've stayed up all night, you can't go to work and your whole life falls apart. I wish I knew the statistics on how many homeless are a direct result of online gaming. Please see someone before starting!!
butalbee started the thread "do looks really matter?
i started wondering about the "nice" guys (such as myself).... it's been my experience that women tend not to go for the "nice" guy who has a lot to offer - big heart, kind, good income, etc.
they seem far more likely to go for the aggressive "jerk" or "rebel" who treats them like dirt.. why is that?.
What ya'll don't realize is that you're trying to put men into neat well defined catagories. A nice guy is not always a nice guy. A jerk can be very nice at times. Sometimes when someone says nice guy they mean someone with good manners. Sometimes they mean romantic. Sometimes they mean the guy won't beat up the woman. In reality the perfect guy would be confident good looking, sensitive, strong willed yet open minded, willing to stand up for what he believes in, Etc. Some of these things could make someone look like a jerk. Some men define themselves as nice guys when really they are just stupid guys or maybe scared guys who will be nice to a girl for a while just because they are desperate.
I would fit into just about every catagory there is, depending on when you saw me.
Which turns your head more? A Ford Taurus or a Jaguar? A mobile home or a house on the water? Every choice comes with a price. The nice guys who also have good looks, confidence and strength of character may be asking more than you can pay. Does that make them evil? I don't think so.
