  i attended my grandfathers jw funeral the other day.

  firstly i am a rabid apostate, and certainly not wt greatest fan.

  that been said however, i will certainly stick up for them when they do the right thing.

  Hotels Deny Watchtower Discount Rates For 2020 Regional Conventions

  the wtbts is not being given special room rates by 2 major hotels at the long beach convention center area for the upcoming 2020 regional conventions & wt is t'd off.

  letters are being read in surrounding circuits and congregations.

  apparently wt is afraid that other hotels are going to blackball them as well.. has anyone else heard this?

  just yesterday, a pimi jw that i've known for years told me that at the end of a wedding they recently attended in pennsylvania, usa, the "brother" that officiated the ceremony concluded by saying to the bride and groom, "you may now embrace the bride.

  no kissing.

  i probably pay more attention now than i ever did while i was sleeping.

  anyway, i think there are a lot of brothers who are awake, and they try their best to go against the grain while up on that stage.

  Convention 2019: Children told don't form emotional attachment to pets!

  i have just heard from a visitor to the jehovah's witnesses convention for 2019, that they have been told; 'not to form an emotional attachment to their pets, as animals don't have feelings anyway'.. well, that should break a few children hearts!👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 🥴 😭 💔.

  a question for active, current jehovah's witnesses (visiting this discussion board) who still believe in the bible and are still searching for answers...(matt.

  we remember the watchtower society has long taught there are no inspired persons on earth today, nor living in our modern times.

  which explains their viewpoint concerning the governing body leadership today, saying they need not be inspired to correctly lead the congregation of god's people today.

  KHConf - I had no idea how big it has become!

  if you are a jw in the us or canada, you probably already know about "khconf".

  it is a business that has been set up (presumably by some jws somewhere) that supplies call-in numbers and teleconferencing for shut-ins to listen to kingdom hall meetings.. they have their own website: www.khconf.com.. .

  what i didn't know is how much they've spread!
