there have been a few posts in the past about watchtower inc. at 100 henry street, but i do not see the answer i'm hoping for.. can anyone confirm or provide details linking watchtower inc. to the wbts?
they are across the street, and one can easily assume that they are connected, but i don't see any definite links.. the closest i have come is this link: http://www.insideview.com/directory/watchtower-inc which lists watchtower.org as the website.
this could have been posted like this in error however.. according to 2014 sec filings watchtower inc. has a ceo named sholom drizin ( a man worth possibly 2 billion.).

Anyway that name from manta business directory - "Menachem M Schneerson" produced something very interesting. It seems there is a famous rabbi named Menachem Mendel Schneerson (check it out here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menachem_Mendel_Schneerson). So, is this a false name or what, very weird !!

It shows Menachem M Schneerson as the contact for the company. It needs to be asked if there is a connection between this Schneerson and the WTBS Executive office (Don Adams).

it seemed like a lot of them had a picture of a glass of wine and a plate of bread.
this year's invite and at least 2 years prior, no emblems are shown in the invite.

It seemed like a lot of them had a picture of a glass of wine and a plate of bread. This year's invite and at least 2 years prior, no emblems are shown in the invite. Also, in the prior song book the 3rd verse was all about the wine and bread. The mention of wine and bread is missing from the current memorial song.
Add to this is the fact that over 13,000 and growing are drinking wine on memorial night (much to the displeasure of the society).
Me thinks the wine and bread are going soon............

I thougt 2 or more layers would be more effective. I guess in theory the more layers you use, the person's conscious filter/resistance would lower a bit and the message might actually go into the gray matter (if only for awhile).

Stacking realities simply means quoting someone else when you don't to say something really loaded. The "stacking" comes in when the source is 2 or more layers deep.
An example might be, "you know, I was talking to a brother who was out in service recently and a householder said to him, "did you know your second WT president had a mansion built for David & Abraham who were said to return in 1925". If you had the time to Really Think about that, how would you respond".
You can certianly add more stacks or layers, the above example has 2 stack to show the point.

i can't scan the memorial invitation for 2013, but i was looking at it today and noticed something curious on the front drawing.. we have jesus as the central figure of the composition.
to his right and bottom, a large crown, in colour, of shiny happy people of diverse origins.. separated from this by the figure of jesus, is another group, a much smaller one, on the left and as if ascending to the top, and grayed.. clearly portrayed in this group is the face of ct russell and apparently william tyndale.
but then, also sarah and abraham and other personalities of the ot seem to be represented there.
I just saw something interesting on the invitation. Take a close look at the lady all the way to the lower right hand side. Now take a close look at her lower neck.
It caught my eye right away. Got more clear under better lighting (or shining a light behind).
What I see looks like a fish.

so i'm young enough to not remember having hot prepared meals at assemblies, but heard all about it from my parents and the like.
but what i do remember were all of the cold sandwiches and institutional snacks and soda.
remember the food tickets we started to use?
I grew up in New England and remember the cold sandwiches and salads for lunch.
And of course there were those funny little tickets that you tear off to buy food. The tickets started out as square (about 1/2" x 1/2"), yellow and said 10 c or something like that. Then later, they became long rectangles (about 1/4" x 1"). But allways the collor was yellow. This is circa 1980s. My understanding is that they did away with the tickets.
after the daniel book came out, nothing has ben said about it in at least 10 years.
