by orbison11 inthis is a bit of a long post, but couldn't copy addy, .
it is good for the canadian parents here who are fighting to see their children and they are having their children's minds poisoned by the custodial parent.... a good case in canada.

Be Gentle With Me - Virgin Poster
by TheEdge inchanced upon this website a few days ago, and perhaps spent most of my waking hours (since then) reading, and certainly identifying with, quite a lot of it.
i have also learned a few things i was unaware of - i know this is ''old hat'' to all of you, but i wasn't aware of the un ngo thing.. i was saddened reading many posts - mostly trying to get human compassion (from elders who hold the trump cards - dealt by....?).
i read with interest josephus's post no.313, and goldminer's 1st posting - both drawing attention to how lives have been wasted due to false prohesy - and i thought (after reading how the society is claiming compensation for surviving - or dead!

The Mother In Law Visit
by Why Georgia ini have written here before about my mother in law causing problems in my marriage and how she has not been nice to me or my two beautiful children.. so my husband, who is the most kind and forgiving man on the planet wants to give his mother another chance.
he tells me she is not going to be around much longer, at the most we only have 10-15 more years before she dies.
( i thought he was trying to make me happy when he said that and accidentally smiled....which made him peeved).

Why Georgia, Your mother in law truly feels in her heart if she doesent do or say something you are going to all die at Armageddon, be firm but patient with her ,if she will let you explain the reasons why you no longer go to meetings if she wont the next time she visits let some little thing slip accidently (on purpose) about the organization she might be interested in ,she may shrug it off but you have planted the seed .G OOD LUCK

Do Jehovah's Witnesses keep records on people?
by inquirer ini have known some people (i dont' know if it's true or not) [and i am the kind of person that doesn't like to cause trouble] who have said that jehovah's witnesses keep tabs/records on people.
all the things they have done like if they got babtized, personal problems/experiences, arguments they may had with people, and just their general conduct as well.
have any people here found out about a "black book" where they keep records on you?

No more meetings for me!
by cyberguy inwell, after being out-of-town for nearly 2 months, i?ve decided i can no longer go to any meetings after returning home (not that i was going to that many beforehand).
i?m not sure what is happening to me, but i?ve actually developed an aversion to anything "watchtower!
" i cannot even read the literature, including current awake and watchtower magazines, without getting extremely nauseous!

JW reaction to Tsunami-information
by InquiryMan inrealizing that many witnesses are concerned with how many of their fellow beliveres are affected by natural disasters, i did provide those i know with some information on sms.
the information was based on various postings on the jw-believers are of belief.net (various reports supporting one another).
i thus found them rather trustworthy.
