Question for Ozziepost
by stillajwexelder inso today i was in kansas city shopping for wine and i purchased a bottle of yalumba barossa shiraz (2002 but only because it had a higher robert parker rating than the 2001) and it was $15.99 - just had a glass.
absolutely wonderful.
another ass-kicking wine from south easet australia.. have you had this wine and how did you rate it?

A "friend" has died.
by Nellie ini met this man 17 years ago - new to the city, he was an elder in the congregation.
his personality was warm and loud - (a new yorker, of course) -- i had left home, but i was reminded of home every time he opened his mouth.
one of the most endearing things about him was the way he pronounced jehovah - with an "er" at the end, more like jehover... boy was he loud and warm.

OK, I't My Turn As The Newbie
by BlackPearl ini'm not sure where to start, probably in two major areas.
mechanics thing, that can't work, and what i see as the lack of true love in the brotherhood.
i've been in "the truth" or lack thereof, for about 30 years, give or take a little.

This may be my last postÂ…so goodbye and thanks
by seven006 ini never thought i would do one of those infamous goodbye i cant take this board anymore posts where the person shows up again a week later and looks like an idiot.
when i had enough of this board and needed a little break i would just quietly leave for a few months and hopefully nobody noticed.
that is not the case this time.

HOW MANY ARE REALLY TRUE TO ORGANIZATION TEACHINGS???
by chuckyy inmy experience since leaving the jw's, knowing certain ones who still have contact, is that many jw's in good standing have done, or are doing things that could merit expulsion.

If she was brought up as a jehovahs wittness it will take time so be patient and arrange activities and arrange for a school friend to come along but the most important thing dont let her spend much time alone with your parents (well meaning as they may be) they will try to indoctrinate her that will confuse and make her a very unhappy little girl you cannot tell her about the organization at this stage she is too young just love her and spend a lot of time with her. All the very best.
