  Newbie Here- but I've been here the whole time

  my wife and in-laws are now here and i'm on now.

  i'm going to copy and paste my first post from jwstruggle...... my story is, i grew up as a jw.

  my parents found out later on and didn't tell anyone.

  well i'm sorry i've been absent, it's been a rough few weeks and still having to work....i ended up having a nice happy surprise by having the day off, so i'm finally going to get caught up on things.. .

  april 1st was my 6 months of not reporting service time and i am officially inactive now.

  i think my hubby and i are going to celebrate!

  Welcome cantcontroll! One week out and the rest of your life ahead of you.....What tatt are you thinking of getting?

  I'm thinking I want it on my shoulder. I can show it off still, but can cover it when I have to be the professional :)

  Next week Friday a friend of mine is going to the tatt place to finish her half sleeve tatt, and she told me to go with her so I can have a consult with the tatt artist. I'm going to do it!!!

  I'm sorry Sparky is going through that, but unfortunately, if Snake and the CO are friends...nothing will happen to Snake. I'm not up-to-date with elders SOP, but the BoE can remove the troublesome elder....they don't need the CO to remove the elder....I've known many elders that were removed by the BoE, but I will they would need a 2/3 vote...so if 1/2 of the body like Snake and the other 1/2 don't like him...well then of course Snake will stay as a elder.

  Good luck to Sparky and the rest of the body, but I don't see this ending well and the CO removing him.

  April 1st was my 6 months of not reporting service time and I am officially inactive now. I think my hubby and I are going to celebrate! I think I'm going to get a tattoo to celebrate and as my final act of rebellion against WTBT$

  Since my hubby is playing hookie from school today he said he will finally post on here today....

  How am I feeling about being inactive???? I feel Freakin' awesome!!!!!!

  They're (Elders) after me!!!!!!!!!

  good morning and sorry this is so late being posted, it's been a busy week and this is the first chance to post.. our home phone, which only a few people know and have, has been ringing constantly for the last two weeks, and my hubby and i have been ignoring it.

  my parents and the elders are the only ones that have our home phone number and my parents have been just calling my cell because they know we won't answer the house phone...anyways this has been going on for several weeks.. on saturday i get a call from my dad asking me how the asl cong works with recruiting people for their hall...i was really confused because my parents live 90 miles from the asl cong and the people in that hall are too lazy to drive that far.

  so i asked him to explain.. apparently some man called asking if there was anyone in the household who knew asl to help communicate with deaf....so i can't say everything about the conversation because i don't want to reveal details.

  My hubby and I were living with my parents for awhile after we were married, and last year we finally moved into the city for work. So we were really inactive while living with my folks, so when we came to the city we tried to go to another hall but my health problem still couldn't handle going into our assigned hall. So it was only like a month or two after we moved that we learned TTATT, and we never went back...we had only gone 2 or 3 times before my husband and I said enough! So no one really knew our faces or even our names. So we technically did move away :)

  As far as our house phone that is only for our gated community and my parents....My husband and I use our cellphones for everyday use. So unless my parents give the elders our new number, they will not have it :) And I know my parents won't give them our number. One nice thing about living in a gated community, we have to let people in, and that's not going to happen, if by some chance the elders want to come "visit" us.

  January was the last time I answered the phone for the elders wanting our time, they tried to come over for a shep visit, but I told them we are too busy. Which wasn't exactly a lie

  is it just me or are we seeing more and more of these guys?.

  i have been having some extraordinary conversations with these folks lately and they are actually holding lengthy dialogues with me, one who has become "dangerous", is "poisonous", a "slanderer", etc.

  according to wt.. here is one exchange from yesterday and today with a jw apologist who calls himself "warriorprince101010" who decided to call me the dreaded "a" word on one of my videos, stating that i was a "bitter apostate":.

  Apparently some man called asking if there was anyone in the household who knew ASL to help communicate with deaf....So I can't say everything about the conversation because I don't want to reveal details. But just my opinion of the whole thing, it was very odd especially since the man didn't want to reveal himself on who he was to my dad, and that was such a lame-ass excuse to use. but my dad made this person say who they were with and sure enough it was a JW, but this guy was very hesitate to admit who he was...weird huh? Then my dad said he was a JW himself and that I knew Signed language...the JW on the line said he had to go and hung up on my dad....WEIRD!!!!!!! So wait if they are looking for people to help communicate with deaf then why the hell did he hang up on my dad when he said I knew sign? See it's weird!!!!!

  Sunday right after the meeting time for the hall our cards are in our home phone rang for a good 2 minutes straight, we don't have caller ID or anything like that so we don't know who it was...but it's awful funny it rang for 2 minutes straight....

  Monday I called the phone company saying we are being harassed by the person who had the phone number before us debt collectors (which was true, but I mainly wanted to hide from the elders) and we now have a new number that only my parents have..... I don't even think the elders know where we live, so the only way to contact us now is through my parents and they are not giving them my info. I love protective parents :)

  There are some other things going on too with elders and my family but sadly I can't say anything right now on it, in case any of those elders are lurking on here, but it's very serious and once we can tell all of you.....man you won't believe it!

  SO to those elders trying to find me.....CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  i have lurked now and then, just decided to join.. my older brother and i were raised by our jw mom, but our dad was a non-practicing catholic.

  so we went to the hall, but were considered "weak" witnesses, since our family still celebrated xmas and birthdays, to appease my dad i suppose.

  as a kid, i loved these holidays.. anyways, when my brother was 17 (i was 13), he spent a few weeks with our cousins in ky, who are all gung-ho j-dubs, and upon his return, he decided he was going to be more "theocratic".
