Summer district convention schedule

a family member asked me when our convention was and i had to fumble around.
they think we still go to meetings.

The ACLU is probably the most damaging entity in our society. Look at what they are defending in the courts. You are worried about losing personal freedoms? They are the ones who are fighting to take them away from people, and turn America into a Socialist society. And yes, foolish scare tactic. Typical of them.

it's something that is available only to active jws, right?
i know that they don't go around handing it out like they do with the watchtower and awake!

Here is my 2c for what it is worth. I think the Purpose Driven Life might be helpful, but you may still maintain the JW mindset as you read it, and that little voice in your head may say things like 'This is good, but it is not true' or 'This guy doesnt even use the name Jehovah when he speaks of God'.

He is debating a pastor from another church. You can go to unchainedradio.com and read more about it. His name is Pastor Gene Cook JR. He is a very good debater, and no, I do not think the dubs will win this one, although, regardless of the outcome, they will think that they did I am sure.

No, it really is a JW. His name is Andrew Corbin, and he is a protoge of Greg Stafford. Yes, it is totally frowned upon by the Society, and I am not sure why he would go against their wishes. But, he is! We also advertised at Kingdom Halls, so we will see if any curious JW's show up (probably not).

That's it. We're moving to the Yucatan Peninsula (Cancun Pics)

we may have to move there some day.on the beach, in playa del carmen (a little south of cancun) for about $200k.
that's disgusting compared to what you would pay for anything in the usa that is situated along a nice shoreline.

Should You Believe In The Trinity? - Maybe

i am new to this board and since i am currently undergoing bible study with a jw elder, thought it would be a good idea to expose myself to other viewpoints on what i am learning from him.. a while ago i read "should you believe in the trininty".
having had a barely adequate education, i knew a lot of the names of the father's cited therein but had never really read anything they wrote.
