we had a nice "encouraging" chat about my inactivity.
they went through the usual guilt routine, that didnt seem to work so they turned to fear.

Suicide - How many do you know within the JWs
by Lady Lee inthw wts likes to play games with their statistics.
one interesting but truly tragic is the number of jwhovah's witnesses who commit suicie.. now i suspect that if a person commits suicide shortly before or after they are disfellowshipped then the elders would say that person wasn't a witness or that they had done something so terrible that they were too guilty to admit it and by their action of committing suicide they pretty much declared they were no longer a jw.. yup fancy talk to make sure any crap didn't fall on them.. so my question.. do you know of cases like this?
if so then can you answer a few more questions.. had this person been dfed or in real danger of being dfed or whatever the equivalent is if they were never baptized?.

Websites And Their Operators Who Help J.W.N. Members Real Time.
by ÁrbolesdeArabia ini get a little testy when "spammer's" or other loathsome individuals use jwn to push their own shoddy websites while offering nothing to members of jehovah-witness.net.
the member who never has time to post a soothing answer to "urgent question need help" or "my parents just kicked me out", "i am thinking of death" but have plenty of time to "pump and dump" their own website or blogger.
i thought of some of the very good people here who have websites, but take lots of time to help new or old members with emotional, spiritual or other problems life throw's at them.

REMEMBER THIS FACT
Questioning the Watchtower corp. is not questioning GOD . They are not God .
"But the question is, Are you willing to put your religion through such a test? There is nothing to fear, because if you have the right religion you can only be reassured by the examination. And if what you believe is not in keeping with the Bible, then you should welcome the truth, because it leads to light and life." Watchtower 1958 May 1 p.261
What Is an Open Mind?
An open mind is free from the fetters of prejudice, which by one dictionary is defined as follows: "A judgment or opinion, favorable or unfavorable, formed beforehand or without due examination; a mental decision based on other grounds than reason or justice; especially, a premature or adversely biased opinion." A necessary part of life is that we make decisions and reach judgments. But decisions made "without due examination" or judgments reached "on other grounds than reason or justice" are evidences of a closed mind. Having an open mind, on the other hand, means to be receptive to new information and ideas. It means being willing to examine and to evaluate information without a biased attitude. By retaining what is worthwhile and rejecting what is worthless, we can reach definite conclusions on a solid basis and still leave our minds open to further revision should additional information become available at a future time. He who feels he has learned it all can be sure that this attitude will prevent him from ever learning more.*** AWAKE 84 11/22 pp. 3-4 An Open or a Closed Mind-Which Do You Have?

QR codes: a way to stop APOSTATES !!!
by raymond frantz ininteresting meeting today.the do had the last talk and he mentioned a couple of things i have not heard before :.
1) the new lighter magazines are designed in a way to attract people to our website .
2)the ministry will change to incoprorate preacing in town centres and and with stands as in manhattan and certain brothers will be allocated to do this .so it is done now in a big scale ,organised.. 3)the qr codes at the back of the magazines are there for smart phone users to guide them directly to jw.org ,unlike bad old internet via laptops and pc's that you have to look for the website on google and sometimes end up in enemy websites that look like our website but are spreading lies about jw's (he said exactly that!

This just shows how truly clueless they really are about technology and how people really
interact with it .
Its so obvious its in response to their must pressing concern "How to keep people from all the critical info on the net?"
So now I'll go back to putting more critical info on the net .

New Member...
by sosoconfused inhello everyone, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.. i am a mid 30's just stepped aside elder, who just couldn't handle it anymore.. i am a 3rd generation born-in and former pioneer and bethelite.
it has been a log somewhat confusing ride for me, but i am finally settling in to realizing that i need to really look at what me and my family are doing.. .
its funny though what really got me here... it wasn't the 40 year old men telling me they were looking at boobies on the computer and hoping not to get in trouble, it wasn't the watching young people bail left and right, it wasn't the ever changing new light etc... but a simple thought.. .

(For our non-JW guests) How to get rid of a JW using only two words.
by cedars inif creepy contact lenses, facial piercings and people who talk insanely fast (and over-use the word "legit") are not your thing, then don't watch this video!.
however, if those things don't bother you, and you're curious about the "nuclear" way to eject jehovah's witnesses from one's doorstep, this video explains how this can be done swiftly and effectively.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrvc1yoydby.
i can actually remember at least a couple of instances where someone revealed they were gay on the doorstep to my partner and i and this didn't get rid of us immediately, but it did force us onto the back foot.
