  What I don't understand is why a little blood makes so much difference to a God that he would make his son suffer and die so he could change his mind on how he felt about mankind.

  It sounds more like the pagan Gods who wanted sacrifices all the time from his subjects.

  Got a pool que stick

  my wife bought me a pool que stick for my birthday.

  my brother and i play a few games before we bowl on mondays.

  the ones at the bowling alley aren't very good and most of them are damaged in some way.

  Don't have anything planned for today, just hope I survive until tomorrow.

  I feel like I aged about 10 years this last year. I don't know why. I think my joints are going bad now. I've always been active, riding my bicycle, mowing the yard with a push mower, swimming etc. Sometimes it hurts now. I guess i've been lucky so far. It's really hard for me to think I'm 71 years old. In my mind I'm still 40.

  christ almighty when i went outside to start my car up this morning i thought i was going to freeze solid like lot's wife.

  my wife and grandaughter went to church with me this morning.

  i really would like to believe in god and christ but it all comes from the bible and the first scripture that was referred to was a contridiction.. 1 sam.

  15:29 says,"he will not feel regrets, for he is not an earthling man so as to feel regrets.".

  JT, I see what you are saying but life is too dependent on the physical things. If your heart stops you die, if you don't eat you die, if all your vital organs don't work you die. So life is not some inner spiritual mystery. Life is dependent on you taking care of your body, otherwise you die.

  What really makes you who you are is another story. Maybe your genectics, your environment and what you see while growing up. Look at the different cultures and how they act differently. Also if the chemicals in your brain gets out of balance you can go nuts. So I see life as physical with some sort of emotional inner self developed by our surroundings and brain developement. I think we can develope an appreciation of life by thinking inwardly, what ever that is.

  I'm glad you have a way to appreciate life, sometimes I think maybe life is more than we can understand, but then I wonder when exactly did we get this life force. When the sperm met the egg, or maybe when we began to get air. Who knows?

  I understand what you are saying, and sometimes I wonder if God exist would he like being the one as the bible describes him to be. I guess I will just be me and hope I don't make God mad.

  many believe that the nt bible is a law book, designed to give us exacting instructions and formula on what to do and not to do.
