the reason i ask is that i am an avid hunter and i fish just as much.when i was going to the hall i was never discouraged to hunt or fish but i kept it to myself.it was a personal thing that i never pushed on anyone.just curious...

Hi WG,

I enjoy fishing, not so much catching fish but I love the lake and all the wild birds and animals I see. My brother and I enjoy the time together, having a beer or two and riding around in the boat. We catch a few fish but just enjoy the outside world.

My grandson loves hunting, he lives in the country and there are deer, turkeys, beavers, fox, rabbits and once in a while a bear will wonder through. There is a river a hunder yards or so at the back of his home. It's about 15 minutes from my home. He still lives at home with his mother and step-father. He only hunts deer and turkeys.

kinda messy but i can't clean it up because a lot of it is my wife's and if i move it,it's not worth the flack.

maybe i should admit it's really mostly my mess.. .

Hi Yadirf,

Yep, it's a train. My wife got it from Readers Digest or some mail order deal. It's really quite a good model of a modern train. I only play with it when I go back to my second childhood moods.

Hi All,

YK is a closet apostate. He's afraid to come out and say what he really thinks to those he respects because he knows they will shun him, if they don't already. He only has friends like Yadirf I would guess. He does resemble the GB though, if we consider his predictions and their fulfillment.

why won't my friends help me?.

i had one letter about 9 months ago while i was still going to the meetings warning me about apostate tendancies.. then a phone call from another friend just after christmas telling me he couldn't see be any more.. this has been the extent of my former friends encouragement to get me to see the errror of my ways and come back to the fold.. none of these people see me any more.. none of these people have made any effort what so ever to get me back!.

i'm thinking of phoning some up and asking them "why?".

It's really strange, while my brother and I were in the borg. we weren't really friends, but after we left we are now the best of friends. We love each others company and feel a closeness we never had before. Go figure.

Hi All,

This is where I live most of the time. Kinda messy but I can't clean it up because a lot of it is my wife's and if I move it,it's not worth the flack. Maybe I should admit it's really mostly my mess.

Notice the NWT on the shelf on the left. That was my mother's bible and it contains the only sample of my mother's handwriting that I have. It's about the only thing I have from her life except a few pictures, and of course the memories.

There are a few trophies, and a ship's bell on the wall I got from my sailing regattas. All the old disketts I guess should be thrown away as the are mostly old DOS and Windows 3.1 programs. There is a picture of my old school on the wall and some of my family on the top of the desk. This little room is beside my bedroom and was a porch years ago. I closed it in and made a little room for my daughter when she was born.

i apologize in advance for this post, i was stoned and bored when i wrote it:.

1/ all yer dreams consist of the jw discussion, silent lambs and crisis of conscience icons.. 2/ when you greet people you say, h, e, l, l, o.. 3/ you spend countless hours trying to think up witty posts so everyone has a look and you get those little flamy things on the folder, cause this is all you live for and it makes you happy.. breath.

4/ hair, make-up, perfect - right, i'm ready to log on.. 5/ 24/7 is just not enough time to say everything you need to say.. 6/ you use up yer 2 posts and 20 reply's in 2.35 minutes.. 7/ you complain constantly to simon, bombarding him with emails demanding yer own forum thread dedicated to all yer witty responses.. 8/ yer will stipulates a full time assistant is to be hired to do all your posting for you when you kark it.

You get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and have to log on to see what's going on before you can go back to bed.

Kingdom Hall for Sale

this is a picture of the last kindom hall that i was the po.

i went by to take a picture yesterday and a couple of jws drove up.

i talked a few minutes and gave him the history of the hall, along with a few comments about my family and some of the questions i have about the new light.

I noticed that the windows have been changed since I was there, they were clear and you could look out, now they are some kind if thick glass that you can't see through. I guess if you could see out anything would catch your interest, compared to the meeting.
