  Why the disrespect for Jesus?

  now i understand completely that most in this forum are 100% against jws and the watchtower.

  what i don't understand is the disrespect that has been shown for such a sacred occasion that is the memorial (last supper).

  whether you agree with jws or not, the fact is that the last supper has a lot of meaning for christians.

  Hi Mavman,

  I think the Power that may have been responsible for existence would be insulted by the idea that he made his son suffer and die just so he could forgive humans for something he set up with a devil. This was the same thing that the bible god said had never entered his mind, the sacrificing of humans to a god. It just doesn't jive with me. I may go to the memorial tonight to see who is there that I knew in the past and remind me of how fortunate I am to be away from all that BS.

  well i wonder why he didnt live out the normal 60 year life cycle.

  Hi Bathory,

  It does seem a little strange also that he didn't do anything until he was 30 years old. All the youth today are expected to be pioneers at a much younger age. Since he hasn't done anything for two thousand years since getting back to heaven I wonder what the rush to get back was?

  Got My Invite Today

  well i finally go my invitation to the ritual today.

  i didn't know either of them but they had a nice smile and were dressed in the proper attire.

  the invitation was a little less quality than usual, and said, "printed in the usa".

  Hey Mouthy,

  I just might go, I wonder if I can take all the BS that I used to put out. A while back I found a bunch of old tapes that I had recorded of assembly parts and among them was a recording of my memorial talk back in the 60s. I didn't do too bad, not much enthusiasm, just the facts man, but I did sound sincere because at the time I was.

  I wonder how many of the ones I knew are still there? There were some good people back then that I knew, but I have moved on since then and many of them have died. My aunt is really in bad shape and I doubt she will live much longer, she is the last of the family of her generation, and they all looked for the end to come and see paradise restored. It's a shame to see so many dreams come to failure when they have spent their whole life working for the Borg. expecting so much more to happen. I remember her pulling up in my driveway and talking to me and saying so sincerely,"You need the organization". What I really need right now is MONEY.$$$$.

  How All Religions Can Be True

  if there's one thought that's truly unthinkable or beyond.

  an average witnesses' comprehension, it's the thought that.

  more than one religion can be true.. in reality, it's not that hard to fathom.. first, start with the thought that god is everywhere and in everything.

  Well I finally go my invitation to the ritual today. I didn't know either of them but they had a nice smile and were dressed in the proper attire. The invitation was a little less quality than usual, and said, "printed in the USA". I got my Watchtower today also and it had the theme,"Soon an end to disabilities!" Was it talking about the mental ones of the GB??? There was a picture of Fred Franz at Yankee Stadium convention with his hands up beside his mouth and in front on him was a picture of a bunch of literature with the caption,"Jehovah provides for those who love Him" Yes we get all the toilet paper we need.

  what got me thinking, -------when i was seating at a district ass.

  and looking at the audiences of 10,000 people seating there, i thought if all these people here were to represent all the earths population, only ten people on the front row would be saved.. since the population of the planet is 6 billion "worldly people" and 6 million jws, that means those poor bastards in the world only have one in 1,000 chance to live!

  but i was "lucky" enough to be born into a jws family {and maybe 75%?

  I got news for you New Boy, not a single one will survive, we all die without exception. Has anyone survived that you can name? We are just animals and go back to dust. Can anyone prove otherwise?? Of course we can fantasize any eventuality that might please us, but don't expect any proof to show up.

  according to all the gospels christ rose,resurrection,from the dead.yet the watchtower says christ did,as a spirit creature.and his real body turned to gasses.turning to gasses is not a resurrection.1john 43:3 says,"and every spirit does not confess that jesus christ has come in the flesh,(john1:14)is not of god.and this is the spirit of the antichrist,which you have heard was coming,and is now already in the world.

  "2john 7,"for many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess jesus christ as coming in the flesh.this is the deceiver and the antichrist.

  "1john 2:22,"who is a liar but he who denies that jesus is the christ?he is the antichrist who denies the father and the son.".

  Hi All,

  This is so typical of all Christain religions, each person, church group has it's own view of what the bible means when it describes some event or teaching. Do you really think God would produce a book to guide mankind that could never be understood? This is why I have abandoned the bible and all religions, they have no better understanding of God than any non religious person.
