  beijing (reuters) - humans are stripping nature at an unprecedented rate and will need two planets' worth of natural resources every year by 2050 on current trends, the wwf conservation group said on tuesday.

  populations of many species, from fish to mammals, had fallen by about a third from 1970 to 2003 largely because of human threats such as pollution, clearing of forests and overfishing, the group also said in a two-yearly report.. "for more than 20 years we have exceeded the earth's ability to support a consumptive lifestyle that is unsustainable and we cannot afford to continue down this path," wwf director-general james leape said, launching the wwf's 2006 living planet report.. "if everyone around the world lived as those in america, we would need five planets to support us," leape, an american, said in beijing.. people in the united arab emirates were placing most stress per capita on the planet ahead of those in the united states, finland and canada, the report said.. australia was also living well beyond its means.. the average australian used 6.6 "global" hectares to support their developed lifestyle, ranking behind the united states and canada, but ahead of the united kingdom, russia, china and japan.. "if the rest of the world led the kind of lifestyles we do here in australia, we would require three-and-a-half planets to provide the resources we use and to absorb the waste," said greg bourne, wwf-australia chief executive officer.. everyone would have to change lifestyles -- cutting use of fossil fuels and improving management of everything from farming to fisheries.. "as countries work to improve the well-being of their people, they risk bypassing the goal of sustainability," said leape, speaking in an energy-efficient building at beijing's prestigous tsinghua university.. "it is inevitable that this disconnect will eventually limit the abilities of poor countries to develop and rich countries to maintain their prosperity," he added.. the report said humans' "ecological footprint" -- the demand people place on the natural world -- was 25 percent greater than the planet's annual ability to provide everything from food to energy and recycle all human waste in 2003.. in the previous report, the 2001 overshoot was 21 percent.. "on current projections humanity, will be using two planets' worth of natural resources by 2050 -- if those resources have not run out by then," the latest report said.. "people are turning resources into waste faster than nature can turn waste back into resources.".

  i still believe in god.

  still believe his name is jehovah or something like it.. still believe that jesus is his son, and he isn't god almighty.. don't believe in the trinity.

  I guess I'm a lost soul, I can't seem to believe that Christ was real and the bible's view of his life is true. It's been 2000 years since his supposed life here and nothing has changed, except a lot of death to those who believed and later to those who didn't. Oh, I forgot it's just around the corner, very soon now, probably invisible, has something to do with Jews maybe.

  I just don't know what God is.

  Yes we did and also our vacations were usually at assemblies. I even went to an assembly on my honeymoon back in 1957.(my first marriage) My mother, aunt and some cousins were in a car wreck which killed two nuns going to that assembly in Hollywood Fla. Someone came to my motel door and told us about the wreck and we had to go to the hospital to see them. They were at two different hospitals. A JW layer got a settlement from the Catholic church and my aunt and mother used it to pioneer for a few years.

  ..Your still an Idiot..

  it is a long way to my ranch..i mean along way..i live hundreds and hundreds of miles from any large city..the only general store is a miles and miles and miles away..once you get to the area i live,you have to travel a wagon trail that was here in the 1800`s.you`ve got to travel that wagon trail for awhile.there are a few wagon trails that split off from the main one..it`s a whole lot of nothing in every direction..if you manage to chose the right wagon trail to my ranch you still have a way`s to travel.once you get to my ranch,it`s fenced off,the gate is closed and the huskeys guard the yard..your not getting in.....what do i see when i get to the ranch gate?..it looks like a letter,stuffed into a plastic bag..i get closer and it`s too big to be a letter,maybe it`s a wanted poster for outlaw..lol!

  !..i finally get to the gate,pull the plastic bag from between the boards of the gate..it`s a 2 page pamphlet about as thick as 2ply toilet paper.it says:"the end of false religion is near!"..??

  ?..how the hell did a jw find thier way here?..were they lost?..did the dogs eat them?..lol!

  Did you like your High School years?

  recently i got a e-mail on my myspace account from someone i went to high school with.

  of all 400 people in my graduating class, i keep in touch with one and it is maybe a e-mail or christmas card once a year.

  i was a very shy person in high school, graduated in 1989, a mix between a person wanting to be a witness and someone wanting to have some worldly fun.

  I had a great time in HS, I played basketball on the team, was in the band for a while, went to the prom with a worldly girl, stared in the senior play, had a good friend that I hung out with and still was a servant in the congregation. That was in the early 50s.

  I see some preachers do it all the time on the TV. They touch you on the head and you fall out on the floor.

  My wife knew a guy who said he could go out of his body to other places, but he had a hard time getting back in once and he guit doing it.

  I have never had any experience like this so I doubt it all. Sometimes I do dream and it seems real, but I wake up and realize it really didn't happen. Ocassionally I can't tell if something I remember really happened or if it was a dream. The mind is a mystery to me in many respects.
