  Ive recently become atheist. And suddenly, everything made sense and I mean everything. For as great perspective on life get acquainted with brilliant minds like bill Nye, Chris Hitchens, Richard Dawkins etc.

  Anyways,

  It seems like a burden has been thrown off. The fate of mankind doesn't rest on jws after all. And its somewhat odd that I now enjoy more than ever some very selfish and rather carnal pastimes, sex, making money, wine, cigars, sex lol.

  What can we control? Very little it turns out. We can however try to make the world a better place, and that starts with us and our family.

  Its a fact we got here via evolution, now we've got to work with wat we've got.

  jesus was a jew who apparently thought he was the messiah, however, after dying, his disciples began to propagate the lie that he would return from heaven during his generation.

  but, his generation passed away, and it was clear that it was a false prophecy, then a dishonest christian wrote the second letter of peter so as to condemn those who realised that the prophecy was a fiasco.

  interestingly, and sadly, this religion survived,....why????

  the july 15, 2015 study watchtower article entitled "your deliverance is getting near", along with the jw broadcasting video entitled "gerrit losch: fortified by "the prophetic word," and chapter 21 of the god's kingdom rules!

  book presented a large amount of new light or clarified understanding of the events of the great tribulation.. here i am presenting it in chronological order -- this is the governing body's updated chronological order of events for the time right before the great tribulation through armageddon:.

  the final sealing of the anointed occurs just prior to the outbreak of the tribulation.

  Data dog, u bring up an interesting possibility. That the gb will go missing on purpose, claiming that the rapture has occurred. Can u imagine the reaction in jw land? The question is, will jws start making crazy decisions, quitting jobs, buying house s, etc ?? And wat an out for the gb, take the money grow a beard and disappear until death...

  Dwindling Attendance? Here's a quick fix!....

  so here's a real life experience you will get a kick out of.. our kh has about 90 publishers.

  typical meeting attendance during a co visit is right at 100 or so.

  the rest of the time, attendance is a dismal 50-60, sometimes 70 on a good week!.

  after todays watchtower lesson, and the lessons coming, something tells me bigger and bigger new understandings are coming.

  and that it will culminate with 1914. notice how jesus is now coming, and no longer already here.

  the current understanding is both, he is here and hes also coming.

  Can anybody post the current understanding? If I recall theres actually three ways combined that Jesus is here and also coming. This might not be an issue except that the wt appears to be aluding more to a future event as opposed to a present one, why?? Why not call the future event just armageddon? Why confuse it with a present event, rather past, event? I thought it was very telling that jesus coming very soon was included in yesterday's study...

  A convoluted mess...I don't know how it is explained on the jw app, but I take it there is a reason its a long video...something so fundamental needs to be much easier explained.

  Pathetic manipulation at the Zone Visit to the Mexico Branch (Central America)

  gb helper robert luccioni paid a visit to the branch that oversees mexico and central america and, you can probably imagine all the "excitement" among the witnesses who were tied in via internet.. this time they really emphasized that none of the information that was shared during such a "magnificent" event was to be posted on social media.

  the fact that they are becoming more secretive should alert anyone about the dangers posed by cult-like religions but, truth be told, that is a very difficult thing to understand from within.. still, this picture might be of help!

  in the end, luccioni's objective as representative of the governing body was very clear: money!
