It's pretty bad when the military is called in to put people into lock down. They are not listening. China flew in some chinese doctors to Italy and they were appalled to see people walking around outside. They said that this virus will keep going on as long as people keep mingling so Italy called in the military to make the lock down happen. What a world!

Princess Margaret in Toronto called to say all scans and MRI's are rebooked for August. All surgeries unless life threatening are cancelled. However if you have done most of your chemo cycles and your cancer tumor has shrunk for surgery then too bad since those have also been cancelled until further date. My sympathy goes to those who have waited to hear the good news that they can now be operated on and now have to take a time out. My appointment for tomorrow's MRI was cancelled at Princess Margaret. On another note we have new borders who are renting our old farm house and could not afford the oil even though they said they could have not paid for the last oil bill or rent. And now with not being able to evict anyone is even harder. The only thing we can do is put the property up for sale and let them have a few month's free rent to find another place. When it rains it pours. -

Anna Marina I was thinking the same thing and how the elderly and widows are just a burden to some. But then I thought why wouldn't Trudeau get these ones that lost their jobs and get out there and help the elderly. If they don't show up to help, they don't get paid. At least the youth keeps moving. And for once the elderly get some respect!!
It saddens me to see some of these elderly ones work all their lives and then this happens. And if some die the government then gets what the elderly paid into all their lives. By the end of this all the government will still say they are in the red for a long long time.

he basically said that until the vast majority of people have been infected (or eventually vaccinated) and are then immune from re-infection, the problem will not go away.
in other words, virtually all of us may be infected before a vaccine is delivered, thereby putting all of the at-risk elderly citizens in the uk in a really perilous position.

Over here we still have the US border open and would wish they close it as well. Our Cosco and Walmarts are sold out of canned goods, toilet paper, sanitizer, chicken, eggs, medicine ect . Big stores are finding that it's ones coming over from the States. Today I had found another pharmacy that had my meds and there were a lot of States license plates in the parking lot. They were right. One can only dream of a lock down everywhere. Today Kingston finally said they will be closing all tourism spots except for the fast food restaurants. The St Patty's Day party wasn't as big what the police thought it would be with the Queen's University but there were still the drunken idiots talking out their asses on TV,

Also read that they are skipping over testing on animals and are going straight to the humans for these clinical trials. They are looking for people that are willing to do this and get paid $4,500.00. Fingers crossed it works. I don't think this will ever end with China's filthy ways. I don't think they want to be educated on good hygiene when neighboring countries that have nothing still know how to be clean with washing up. So there needs to be a vaccine I think to fix this worlds problem. Right now this is a world that I don't want to be in. I fear so much for our youth of today. What hope in hell do they have with all what's going on except they can maybe afford a house with the way the bank rates are going

All casinos are being shut down in the province within the next 24 hours. Transit railways are shut down by 50%. Went to pick up some cleaner at the grocery store and it looks like the shelves were never stocked. Empty! And YES Trudeau is a bastard!!! Now Nova Scotia and they are definitely not set up. Back in January 2020 this was the reason why a delay in surgeries. That many would be cancelled. They should have known better but back in July it was because the gowns were contaminated with C Diff which I had contracted while in the hospital. There was a woman in my room who had it and because of shortage of beds I was stuck with her. They could have at least given her her own commode. This was right after my liver resection.

Simon on yesterdays news they interviewed a woman who had seen two elderly people crying in their car. The lady went over and asked them what was wrong. They said they were too scared to go into the store due to the virus. The lady did their shopping for them. Yes! The elderly are suffering and it will only get worse There was a major line up to get into the store and shelves were bare

I was told my visit is a follow up visit and since the CT had only shown a lesion on the spleen not growing, cysts on the liver not growing then they would like to postpone until fall. I said fine. The MRI is for the liver where I had two thirds of it removed due to bile duct cancer. And now the med I need to keep me alive are on back order. We were able to scrounge up one month's supply - 96 pills
