says that he feels closer to Jah now more than ever
Something oddly ironic there. Still shunned as if dead by "god's people" yet feels closer to god himself than ever.
:) i really haven't been around much for months now, er, be preoccupied, i guess.
anyone miss me?
i do i have a q for you, and no it doesn't directly have to do with sex.

i saw a thread the other day about movie titles for the wtbts.
i like one liners from movies for the wtbts as well..... unforgiven..........((no one deserves to die boy)).
dune..................((the sleeper has awoken)).
ok, i'm stupid lol I should have read the whole thing.
So what movie is that from?
npr just played a song off of rwh's newest album.
he continues his deeply spiritual themes, lol.
i'll post his song wherein he request that god never contact him again further down the thread.
Can't believe he didn't give a plug for 'ol Bugs. Henderson, not Shutter.
Remember one of his (RWH's) called "Texas Is A State Of Mind"?
Texas is a state of mind
I have been living in
You know Dallas is a woman
She's got cognac in her veins
Houston is an oil field
Austin is a cocaine deal
Fort Worth's a hooker
San Antonio's a train....
Down in Texas
Then there's the Devil
With a belch of tequila
And that sweet smell of grass
We got some soul savers
We got some hell raisers
Good lookin' women
We got cowboys out the ass...
Texas is a real good place
To live and to visit
We're down here with the grace of god
And a little luck
They said that Texas
Would fall off into the gulf
'Cept for the fact that
Oklahoma sucks...
cat that is.
picture of my cat.
please show me yours.
The cat formerly know as "black and white cat" which was shortened to "BW" which was shortened to B.
He's a goofy one.
i just got offered my dream job!
i made it through two successful interviews and today they called me and said i got the job!
i'll make about $10,000 a year more than i am now!
Great news Aztec! It's not everyone that lands their 'dream job'. Very happy for ya!
i was quite surprized when a relative of mine needed a ride to the district assembly and couldn't find one.. what surprized me was two older sisters, who have been utterly faithful over the years, separately said they aren't going.. we already know the watchtower is losing witness kids enmasse but this looks unusual.
what's left for old-timers anyway?
all the urgent depth of doctrine is gone - the society can't defend anything.
minimus,
I'm sorry to hear your mom is in bad health. My mother is in a similar situation...she's 81, has numerous health problems, they've closed the hall in her small town so she also listens via speaker phone to the meetings in the closest town and it's just too much for her to make assemblies etc. anymore. She's talked of how when she was able to go and she would take my disabled sister along, how it was a rare thing to be offered assistance with my sister's wheelchair, the heavy bags etc. She sees how they really are and I know she doesn't believe EVERYTHING they teach, but she still won't let go of 'the truth'. Sad thing to watch.
ok all you computer geeks um, geniuses.
next weekend, steve and i along with another apostate from arizona, will be riding our bikes in a two day, two hundred mile ride from seattle to portland, oregon.
i thought it would be kind of fun to have an apostate logo we could print on sticker paper and attach to our helmets and/or rider numbers to bug any dubbies who may be riding too.
Hi WH. How could I forget? I shoulda taken my old name for this board but didn't think of it.
And thanks for the compliment! It's nice to get feedback on this stuff...even if it is just for fun.

back from the drawing board...
I think my first real concert was - Fabulous Thunderbirds / ZZ Top / Rolling Stones. 1981, Halloween no less!
Seen Pink Floyd, Rush a couple of times, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chicago.
Went to the one of the two 9/11 benefit concerts. I think almost every 80's band was there.
I actually prefer to see acts in smaller clubs. Concert crowds are just too...crowded.
as most of you probably already know, from time to time the watchtower society likes to use district conventions as a platform for adopting silly resolutions, which more than likely are forgotten by the people who gave their approval to it by the time they leave the parking lot of the convention.
this year, during the final talk of the convention (talk entitled: "keep bearing much fruit to jehovah's glory"), a ten point resolution was adopted, with all the baby seal-like clapping following its adoption.
here's the main jist of the ten points (i didn't copy it word for word):.
LOL.....very good!!!
thanks for the laughs no apologies
