  Anyone been sent a virus by EMail recently?

  i got a virus (worm_badtrans.b) sent to me from < [email protected]> (which looks like a spoofed email addy); i was wondering whether anyone else had got it sent to them, or whether someone was selecting me specially (awwww, how sweet), as it was sent to my [email protected] address which i use almost exclusively here.. ah, the joys of automatically updated virus scanners.... .

  twice in the past week, from two different posters, i have been called an "asshole.

  " in both cases, the person made an assumption about me based on something that was said in a thread.

  Hi gd,
  I should have continued to ignore him.But he has an inability to let it go.His constant hounding which has become stalking must cease. Im willing to ignore him and never post to him,now will he act like an adult and do likewise? I just wanted to respond to you as you are correct.I wont be re-visiting this thread . And Im not out to 'win' that is childish. As you've noticed I pretty well let him rant on and on,but it needs to stop now.

  hi everyone, my goodness....i dont know how to thank all of you!

  your posts touched me so deeply; i dont know how to thank you all or how to tell you how much your kindness and love have meant today.. i know we all have so many of our own problems and issues to deal with; i feel kind of foolish for.....god, i dont know what?

  for feeling so lost, so utterly impotent to change all that is going on, both inside my head as well as in my family, that i would be weak enough to want to give up and give in.

  Today is a new day!! I was thrilled and touched to see so much support going your way!!
  Yep,life's road indeed can get rocky.And that's when we grab on to our friends,allowing them to help us till the road smooths. And when they feel like they might 'trip'well,we grab ahold of their arm and support them till the 'smooth' place again appears.

  Ps..to those who showed the most appaling ignorance here among them larc. The things you write show me the paucity of your knowledge. Anyone who has been in therapy knows and are taught about creating a 'social scaffolding' a support base of friends. Reaching out to friends is considered quite healthy,as opposed to other dysfunctional ways of getting thru a bad time.It is considered a crucial 'ife skill'. This because in our humaness we will have a bad patch here and there. No one is immune from the vagaries of life. Your agenda w/ me is showing. You might want to re-think that.
