I just saw what my baby girl (she's 7) had written to Santa. It's quite simple:
"A fairy.Lots of books.I really love books."
That made my day.Kids have such natural thirst for knowledge and vivid imagination.

The Rise Of The Brics Alliance
by metatron inhttp://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-07-19/brics-plan-become-political-alliance-reform-international-financial-system.
step by step, the chinese seem to be building a complete alternative financial system - independent of anglo-america.
this includes their own version of the imf and their own credit rating agency (which just downgraded the debt of the us).. meanwhile, the world obsesses with putin - which has all the appearance of the western world 'being played' by a "good cop, bad cop" routine.

@metatron - With that logic every political anti-West message you post is JW-related because of "Anlo-American world power".
And yes,I am familiar with the points you make. The net is full of all sorts of wacky conspiricy theories and anti-West/anti-Isreal sentiments.Often relayed by cultural relativists who have no idea what it is to live in a truly dictatorial/fascist state.Or..live next to one.Or even better, live surrounded by such nations, determined to wipe your country off the face of the earth.
The point I was trying to make..why bring this tedious political stuff here.Aren't there enough forums designed just for that.I know there are because I'm debating these issues on such forums.

Exactly how is this JW related..?
I'm sure there's plenty of Islamists out there who'd agree with your notion that "Israel is among the world's three biggest warmakers".
That, however, shows no sense of perspective or reality.

Ramifications for Wt if Finnish government was successful in prohibiting shunning
by joe134cd ini was just thinking today of the ramifications for the wt if the government of finland was successful in its case against shunning practices, and eventually this was implemented all around the world.. the question this would raise is do they obey gods commandments or that of mans.
jehovah has implemented a scriptural policy through the fds of disfellowshipping.
it's a loving provision that helps the wrong doer see the errors of his ways and draws him back to jehovah.

I've ben following this case and I can predict with good confidence that the Finnish government isn't going to pursue this. They've had their nice little chat with local Bethel pr-men and that's it.They know all too well that you can't legislate these things.
However, this was all over the news for days and THAT in itself was great.General public's awareness of the evils of Watchtower was certainly rised dramatically.
On top of that, the WT pr-men resorted to such blatant lying that it cannot have gone without noticing by a lot of witnesses.Actually,a relative of mine (who identifies himself as a witness, and goes to meeting and field sercice, but has some doubts) called me very annoyd and said :"why do they have to lie.." referring to Bethel's pr-men.

I've never been to America, but have wanted to travel there for a long time now. There's a lot of anti-American sentiments in Europe and it really annoys me.It's almost always a pleasure to meet Americans.
Hope I get there one day..

My Daughter Begins to Reason on Her Own About the Witnesses
by losingit insuccess!.
today my oldest daughter attended her first birthday party ever for one of her best friends at school.
we actually crashed because we didn't get an official invite or even an email, but it ended up working out and the mom was happy to have us there.

Are these people a hopeless case??
by ILoveTTATT inso some jw who apparently only speaks spanish decides to share this article, which turns out to be a satire, to a spanish jw group.. .
http://diversitychronicle.wordpress.com/2013/12/05/pope-francis-condemns-racism-and-declares-that-all-religions-are-true-at-historic-third-vatican-council/.
(it would be so awesome if the article wasn't satire and was true... this would be so far out though... so crazy!!

Disassociation
by evilone inhi all, i haven't posted here in quite some time.. just as an update, about two years ago, my wife and i moved to a big city about 500 miles away from the town in which we grew up.
we made this move in part to expedite the fading process, which was successful.
when we moved, as i described in an earlier post, we formally transferred from our home cong (where our families are) to a local cong in our new city, and then transferred twice more so as to get lost in the shuffle.

You haven't signed any written documents that make you a jw.So why write any that you no longer are one?
That't exactly what THEY want you to do,so they can label you.Don't give them that power.Play by your own rules, they HATE that because that's not
obedience. And We all know obedience is their mantra.

It's only right to expose and publicly shame the anti-semitic idiots who make this gesture.
Sure, they have every right to make it (as they should have) and the rest have to right to call them for what they are and debunk the lame excuses that it's some kind of general "anti-establishment" gesture.
