It is truly a shame when something upbuilding, not to mention really wholesome, like children playing together and cooperating, is tainted by clash. Maybe if jackhole spent a little less time reading crappy articles and more time engaging in the "secular" world, he might realize he's espousing the very same spurious arguments the WT uses to rob the young of an important part of their life. Namely organized sports of any kind. All of this homophobic talk spawns from tiny minded men who feel emasculated by women who can kick, throw, shoot, fish (well, OK...I guess), or play any sport at competitive levels. but i've always been curious about it.
when i first graduated high school my first full time job was at a mailroom over at the northwestern memorial hospital in chicago.
Leander, getting your significant other to participate is usually when this is a touchy subject.....people are funny about it though. I've seen the aftermath of wierd feeling between long time friends, denial that it ever happened (most amusing), etc...if you get with open minded people it can be super hot and very excitng....that's why I would put plh and Xena on my list heheheheh...

Kenneson, one would think there would be lots of irritated christians, particularly here in this country. I agree with Celia about the age and historical significance of the building itself. We've seen how both sides deeply respect each other's property though. Perhaps its time to send the crusaders back to Jerusalem and smite both sides with the mighty fist of the christian dog...oh and his right hand the U.S. army.

been wondering about this lately.... what proof (outside the bible, of course) do we have for the "historical jesus"?.
in my earlier days (post jw to "born again christian") i remember reading that the one thing that differentiates christianity vs. "all the others" was that we had secular historical proof that there was a man that was called jesus, who died on a cross and was resurrected.
now i am wondering just what that proof is/was?
Sure double, start with the Old Testament and then work you way up to the now. That's when you run out of anything remotely relevant to today, if indeed you can prove any OT prophecy came true outside biblical record/mythology.
