  yes, it's official!

  my last fill-up cost well over 50, at a cost of 101.9p/litre.. even having been accustomed to paying 10% more than in mainland scotland, this is a new all-time high.

  it was bad enough when it broke the 1 / gallon mark, but this is outrageous!.

  What did JW teaching do to your view of God?

  during the last few years that i was a jw i formed an opinion more and more of how i thought god was cruel and didn't understand or care about how his actions affect people.

  i started to believe that we humans were just his little play toys and like a mean kid, he'd just kill off some now and then for whatever reason without any concern for his "toys".

  in wondering how he could justify killing so many at armageddon, killing so many in the time before jesus came to earth, judging people who are in an imperfect state just because they happen to live at the time of armageddon but everyone else being judged in a perfect state without satan's influence i started thinking that he really had no concern for people and maybe even enjoyed the thought of those who would be "weeping and gnashing their teeth" right before they die forever.

  IMO if people need Christian religion in their lives they would do well to discard a lot of the bible entirely. not an administrator asks about"what god wants" and if you look at the OT versus say just strictly the principles of Jesus, you see that the two are not very compatible at all. It has been my experience that the Unitarians probably come closest to an ideal Christian religious experience. Perhaps it is the ability for many different bible interpretations to live together under one roof and be discussed openly. It may also boil down to the idea that what people really want is a public religious experience instead of a personal relationship with some kind of god Just my 2 cents.

  two leading oncologists both agree that my daughter bethany might be alive today if she had not been fed arsenic.

  as you may recall, the wts arranged to take my sick daughter into hiding for two months and payed a doctor to prescribe arsenic.
