Catholic confirmation vs JW Baptism
by juliew inhow can one explain to a court system that getting confirmed as a catholic is not the same as getting baptized as a jehovahs witness.. the court system seems to be under the belief that many children get confirmed around the age of 12 and that a child should have the right to make the decision to get baptized a jw at that age as well.. my arguement is that if you want to leave the catholic church at a later date or commit a serious sin you are not shunned or excommunicated.. looking for something to show the court that using confirmation as a comparison to determine the age at which a child should make this decision is not the same since jw baptism is life altering.

seems like therapists also don't understand or see the big deal with letting the kids get baptized if they want to..

by enigma1863 ini know its a year away but i wanted to inquire about the hundred year anniversary of 1914. it would be amazing to have a world wide event reguarding all exjws.
i am nowhere near capable of putting this together but i'd like to propose the largest assembly of exjws ever on october 1st 2014. can it be done?
am i the first to bring this up?

This doesn't happen anymore. My child (10 years old btw) says they no longer want to partipate in holidays with me either even though this was somthing that was done in previous years and will not use any of the gifts I gave last year for Christmas and Birthday.

If they are an upbaptised publisher would there be any records on file at the local Kingdom hall that captures their publishing work and if they are doing parts at the KM that I would be able to obtain.
Per my custody order I have have the right to access any religious records for my child.

Should I be concerned. The book looks like it has questions for baptism in it.
