  well friends, it's been nice, but just like the society this board was created for, it has deterioted, far worse than h20 or any of the other boards out there, a certain element here continue to bring down this forum to the lowest of lows, and i no longer have the patience to sift through the garbage and hate incited threads to find something worth while contributing too.

  so, with those words, i bid you all farewell, and pray one day you find yourselves!.

  hi everyone, i just read esmerelda's post, i can see where she's coming from, being a new member, myself.. i understand, though, that people have already made friends and have their own little community, and that's fine.. i don't mind at all, i just hope that i can get people's attention by saying something that hasn't been said before...... i'm struggling though......... bye bye.

  one that caught my eye is called hard sayings softened:.

  a very good friend of mine whos also a professor of english literature and humanities at a large, well-known university is also a libertarian!

  he is quite a remarkable person, who has written extensively on many and varied subjects including a book on the titanic disaster, ayn rand, jehovahs witnesses, and isabel paterson, a contemporary of ayn rand.

  he knows more about jws than even most informed apostates, although he has never been a jw.

  When I read that shunning thing on their website last summer I almost fell outta my chair laughing, YA RIGHT!!!!

  Well, Dad decided to call them up. So he talked to some brother about it and asked if that was really their site, of course it was. Then he wanted to know if the shunning had changed, ummm no the guy said. Dad said well it's not true, you know that and I know that! Well, they guy hemmmed and haaaed for a while, but finaly said. 'Well, we have to put that there for the public'. Even if it's a lie, how sick.

  Well I printed that page out and gave it to a few family members and said, why can't they talk to us, the WTS says it doesn't sever family ties??? It's right there on their one website!!! It's pretty sad when the Rank and File don't even belive the WTS' official website!!!

  i have found the lyris to one of my most cherished songs i've ever had the pleasure of hearing..."judith" by perfectcircle".

  not only do these lyrics copy exactly what i feel and think inside re: the tower of rot, the instuments and aggression, are therapy to my tattered soul.

  it is a glimpse into myself, and i'd like to share it with those of you who have been here and there for me over the last three years of my "journey" and "passion">>.
