I don't immediately reject anything. I have carefully considered many apostate claims, as have my collegues, and we utter reject accusations made. It is apostates who are truly immune to critical thinking - how else could you all accept the nonsense that is being spread about the Jehovah's Witness movement?

i believe the march 15th's lead study article is the ne that states that all jws are supposed to be evangelizers.

They've always said that, one way or another. I've heard it said on numerous occasions that if you(a JW) aren't witnessing both door to door and informally, then you aren't a Witness. And we all know what happens to all non-JWs at the big A.
That is a great scripture to use though. Those so-called Bible experts hate it when you one up em on taking scriptures out of context, ahahahaha.

Amateur Organized Crime (In the organization.)

a memory was triggered in my head the other day that i hadn't thought about since i was an active jw.... in the early to mid nineties (i would have been about 14 or so) i remember a situation that was going on with someone i know (details cut to remain anonymous) and her jw friends.

this person involved would have been about 17-18 and her "friends" or people she hung out with ranged from 16-21. they were a group of kids that went to meetings, in service, and were considered somewhat exemplary.

most of them came from what were considered ?strong?

I believe that Jehovah's Witnesses teach the truth.

Define truth.
Armageddon in 1925? or 1975? The generation that saw 1914 would not die off? Or would it? Babylon destroyed Jerusalem in 606BCE? Or was it 607BCE? Jehovah's Witnesses aren't modern day prophets? Or are they? Jesus is my mediator? Or he isn't? That I should be open-minded in my research? Or should I avoid indendent thinking?

i knew this years ago.

but a couple just leaving didnt know this- & they have been jws since 1944.. does differant countries have differant df rules.

I don't know anyone DF'd for joining the "Y", but a relative who was studying joined the "Y" and he was told he had to un-join before he could be considered for baptism.
My thoughts on the logic behind the "Y" issue:
I find it hypocritical that if I, as a baptized Witness, decide to join the YMCA, not for Christian fellowship, but to use the gym or pool, I am subject to disfellowshipping, but that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society can associate itself with the Wild Beast of Revelation, not for supporting the work of the UN but just to use the library and suffer no consequences for this action.
