  watching "our whole association of brothers" for the meeting tonight, and we came to the part where the japanese brother lost his two kids and wife.

  he went on to relate that holy spirit helped him to cope with the loss.

  i came unglued!

  Watching "OUR WHOLE ASSOCIATION OF BROTHERS" for the meeting tonight, and we came to the part where the Japanese brother lost his two kids and wife. He went on to relate that Holy spirit helped him to cope with the loss. I came unglued! Why would Jehovah give this man Holy spirit to cope and not just save his family?

  There is a dissconnect in my brain that i cannot put together. What i mean is, God physically helped this man cope, but did not physically help to keep his family alive? Help me with my flawed thinking.

  God it feels good to be able to ask these questions without the fear of a JC!

  Finkelstein, basically this was the last straw. I have REALLY been bothered about the many "understandings" regarding 1914. Also 1975 and the urgings from the society. What also gets me is i cant believe that someone who is sincere and follows the bible will be destroyed even if thy have heard the message. Just things,you know.

  Hello, I am new and i feel soooo wrong about being here. Anyway I am an M.S and have been disillusioned ever since the new understanding that came out in October. I have read many things on this board that I have and also have not thought about. I just want everyone to know I am NOT an apostate….i have not turned my back on Jehovah.

  I hope to really find what it means to be a real Christian. And I am more and more realizing that “worldly sources” have merit. Thanks.
