  New Book, a Powerhouse

  i've received numerous questions asking for documentation of issues raised on this board.

  some threads have gems that get developed, then buried, and someone raises the same question.

  cd roms whirr.. for some ray franz is more than sufficient, others also enjoy the perspective of "apocalypse delayed" by trained historian james penton, which was vital to me personally.

  Hi Moxy,

  It looks like the book, "The Ouija Board : A Doorway to the Occult"
  is still available.

  At Amazon, an editorial review said about this book:
  "Without sensationalism, Edmond C. Gruss demonstrates - through one
  startling case after another that these dangers are all too real. He
  traces the occult ancestry of the Ouija board and explores possible
  sources of messages,...."

  One of the customer reviews said "This book may seem a little bit
  freaky at times!"

  Sounds too scary for me!

  Thanks for this advanced notice of Dr Gruss' new book.

  Using Amazon, and Google, I have compiled a list of Edmond C. Gruss'
  books in chronological order:

  1997 - Jehovah's Witnesses - Their Monuments to False Prophecy
  1995 - Cults : And the Occult
  1994 -The Ouija Board : A Doorway to the Occult
  1992 - We Left Jehovahs Witnesses : Personal Testimonies
  1975 - We left Jehovah's Witnesses--a non-prophet organization
  1974 - The Jehovah's Witnesses and Prophetic Speculation
  1970 - Apostles of Denial.

  The 1970 book, "Apostels of Denial" is very hard to find.

  apparently the taliban agrees with the watchtower on the evils of free information:.

  Interesting parody, I think I would appreciate it more if I knew who
  Ted Jaracz is. I have read some comments by others that indicate
  he is not a nice person to be around.

  watchtower since 1969. it still is available in it's second editon.. but how many really use this book?

  But how many really use this book? or read it?
  Probably very few, since most people do not know anything at
  all about Biblical greek.

  This being so, why does the Watchtower publish the KIT at all?

  Sir Fred Hoyle-Anyone read his books?

  as any jw knows(ex or otherwise)fred hoyle is often referred to by the.

  society to support the idea that evolution is not accepted by all scientists.. in fact, one gets the impression that most scientists know that it's all nonsense,.

  but that's another story.. my queston is this: has anyone read his books?

  I read some of Hoyle's science fiction novels.

  One of them, "The Black Cloud" concerned an intelligent cloud of gas
  that was entering the Solar System, and was going to block the Earth
  off from sunlight.

  The scientists in the novel were able to establish communication with
  the cloud, and it altered it's course and moved out of the solar system.

  i thought of selling them on ebay, but don't really want the bother.

  for the cost of shipping, i'd gladly donate them to someone for research.

  I think I would be interesting in the "Centennial of the Watch Tower
  Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, 1884-1994" Brochure.

  This is a publication printed by the WTS in order to observe the
  BIRTHDAY (Centennial) of the WATCHTOWER SOCIETY!!!!

  But, of course, it is OK to observe the CORPORATIONS birthday.

  Birthday's of individuals are not to be observed, it gives undue
  GLORY to them!
