Mmmmmm if every one at that time lived for that lengh of time then prob would be accepted as the norm, if true in the fist place.

by Terry ini was waking up out of a sound sleep and a complete thought presented itself to me.. i should write it down.. so here goes.. the bible says adam lived 930 years.
methuselah lived 969 years.. now.... that led to other thoughts.... seems more likely the old stories of adam and methuselah use a word misunderstood by some later writer and maybe a confusion resulted.. maybe the word should have been moons.
like the apache use to say, "i've lived many moons...".. after all, the word month is a corruption of the earlier word moonth which means 30 days.. the lunar calendar was a very popular means of counting time waaaaaay back in the olden days.. .

Hi guys some help please.
by AMO inwas having a drink and chat with a witness freind of mine the other evening (he is an ms) and i got him on the subject of the candic conta case.he had not herd of the case i gave him the court wed site address and case number so he could look directy with out googling as i thought this would encorage him to at least have a go.
then i bought up the changes in the sheepherding the flock book prob due to the court case and i said to him thay where good changes but did not go far enough.
then he asked what book it was, i explained to him the book, then he said he would ask an elder freind of his to have a look for him self.

Great thread lost, i eagerly wait the conclusion. Don't give up on your quest. I cant begin to imagine how tough it must be for alI people finding the TTATT, pushing all the new info through your head and trying to make sense the other end, thank god or YHWH YHVh or what ever I'm an atheist. Seems to me people could save them selves alot of dead brain cells to look at the foundations of there belief first, eg does god exist in the first place. If the answer is no then there is no need to put yourself through all this hardship and just get on with the rest of your life, what ever you have left. If the answer is yes then you have to ask your self is the bible a true history of god and Christianity, if the answer to that question is no then just get on with your life and follow god and Christ in your own way. If the answer to that last question is yes you do then I'm afraid there is alot of info here and across the net that will stumble you badly, am sorry but that's the way i see it.

during this period literally only a handful of people worshipped the true god.
then came the flood - at which point there were only 8 faithful people the world over.. .

Think you've got your sums wrong, from what i understand there are only 7 million or so true followers of Christ alive today and thay have only been around since the 1870s ish. Also am afraid you will find if you look hard enough there where millions of people alive before Adam, though admittedly thay were not worshipping jahova.
