  New to The Jehovahs Witness Faith and need some help

  hello there i am new to the faith and have been studying for about a month.

  i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.

  we do about 2 bible studies a week.

  Hi jn. I was raised a Jehovah's Witness. I love my parents. They were good to me and loved me. But I decided last year that I did not want to be a Jehovah's Witness. Since They do not allow you to leave, they disfellowshipped me and now they all shun me. Even my parents. It's very very sad. Please be aware that if you get baptised you can never leave without everyone shunning you. Imagine if your family converted too and then you had to shun one of them? Never talk to them or see them again.... That's not right.

  I hope you find the truth you crave. Please look hard at all the evidence before you decide. My daughter lost her grandparents because of this religion.

  I just wish I knew her in RL. I want to say thank you for all her hard work. I wish that I could buy her coffee or dinner. She would be so very amazing to meet in RL. It's a dream of mine. Thanks Leolaia.

  the article addressed luke 20:34-36 and now they finally admit jesus could have been referring to the heavenly resurrection.

  they said "put simply, the answer is that we cannot say" which is surprising because they have something to say about everything.

  perhaps all the old people who are waiting the new world as widow and widowers want to know if they have a chance to be reunited with their dead loved one.

  Blondie.... How did I ever believe this stuff??? Good grief thats so weird. Makes me sick too. Tell all these friends their hope is pointless and they should remarry. Then tell them it was a mistake...

  musing over several rather eye-opening reactions i've recently experienced has made me wonder what others have been told that made them go...wow.. my earliest was a family member upset with me for not attending meetings who exclaimed, "but you're going to die at armageddon!

  " i told them that wasn't true because the bible says that god is love and he doesn't work that way.

  they were very angry with me!

  Did Any Atheist/Agnostic Revert Back to Their Former Beliefs?

  are their any former atheist/agnostic on here who reverted to christianity or a belief in god.

  i became an atheist back in july and it was the most unfulfilling depressive period of my life.

  i'm now starting to rebuild my relationship with god and i'm already starting to feel a lot better.

  im in a bit of a bind and im not quite sure what (if anything) i can do about it.

  i was recently hired as a business consultant for a rather large company.

  the company that hired me mentioned that they are concerned about a certain department and the way its being run, as this department affects every other department in the company.

  I agree with the others. If he is not performing as he should then share the assessment minus the JW aspects. Be careful you do not assess him poorly due to his religion. (it doesn't sound like you are doing that)

  so theists why did god create these and why does he co tinue to allow them?

  are they from the talking snake, satan?.

  When you start quoting books that are even wackier than the actual bible thats when the discussion is in danger of dying.

  I can't argue with someone over what some charlatan wrote in a fake bible book that isn't good enough to make it into the original tales. All I can say is that if you believe the bible is inspired of god, then I don't see how you can also believe those other books.
