Lost and Found

well after an almost 4 year sucessful fade including a move, they found me.

i was not home at the time, but they were asking all sorts of questions about me and my family, who lives where etc.

of course it was one of the busybody families in my former congregation.

the annual meeting of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will be in october 2014.. .. in november 2013, just after the last one they published this now famous statement in the 15th of november 2013 watchtower page 16 paragraph 17 says:.

"at that time, the lifesaving direction that we receive from jehovahs organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.

all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.".

Recent Visit with my Wife's Family

i have been inactive for going on five years after an accerated fade.

my wife followed shortly after.

we recently went to visit her parents that know that we don't go to the meetings, and it bothers them but they don't know what to do, as they really can't do much.

I know just what you are talking about! It's weird. I didnt feel comfortable around my parents either. It's like they can't have a normal conversation or discussion. Everything is about the org or the hall or the friends... blech

that i got free, that i am a normal, well adjusted human that has her ups and downs like everyone else.

Something Big is Coming...

For some reason I too think it could have to do with partaking of emblems... I think it could be that they say Jesus instructions apply to all of gods people. But, I see them keeping the paradise and the earthly hope...

I think the line on obeying no matter what or no matter if it seems safe is just to remind JWs how close to the end they are. My mom always taught me similar stuff as I was raised. She used to share experiences of people who obeyed even when it seemed crazy and were saved. Three Hebrews comes to mind. It could just be a way to reinforce that the GB calls all shots.

the october watchtower 2014 is now up on jw org.

regarding the new covenant they write.

the governing body sets the scene in the first article by stating how they are like jesus and as humans they are sinless in god's eyes.. then on page 24 they state this.
