  Noah's Ark and the flood

  so this morning i was thinking about a few things that hit me like a ton of bricks:.

  1. god destroyed the entire earth because man was evil - yet right after he destroyed them for being evil he said that he will never destroy all of manking again because the are evil.... 2. god asked noah to bring two of every kind on the ark.

  then he gets off the ark and sacrifices some of these animals.

  just one day perform some form of miracle in front of the entire earth in which he proves he exists???.

  wouldn't this be the most loving and sensible thing to do?

  for instance, this coming thursday god repeatedly strikes mount kilamanjaro to the point that it reads in hebrew, "god exists, i just did this.

  Proof of Noah's Flood - Presently watching a Documentary about Europe & the Ice Age

  first time i ever heard anyone say there was 'proof' of noah's flood.. very interesting,.

  showed a trawler, where the team dredges regularly in the north sea - for animal bones, massive land animal bones, mammoths.. he said, originally, the bones were sent for analysis, and the dr stated, they were proof of noah's flood.. the north sea area was a land mass of dry grazing lands.

  and it was very similar to africa.. many bones were found in london, of lions, hippos, etc ... when they were digging out the underground.. .

  I'll tell you what doesn't make sense and anyone with a brain can see it. If the flood left only 4 men, and Babel happened 120-180 years later then what the hell man?! Noah's sons didn't tell their kids about the flood? In just three generations or so the earth got so bad that god had to make up different languages and turn people black and yellow and red???

  I am totally in agreement confused. Isn't it funny that miracles only happened when ignorant barbarian goat herders lived, and now that enlightned humanity is here they have stopped?

  And the birth of a child and a sunset are NATURAL occurences and normal parts of life. NOT miracles. I watched my son being born and it was the most special event in my life. But, it was something that has been happening to people for hundreds of thousands of years. NOT a miracle. It is special, beautiful, amazing, and great - but not a miracle.

  Lost is pretty dim witted.

  Cofty pit up a picture of the rocks he lives by and has visited. Those rocks show layers and speak to the question you asked him. Lost can't understand or figure out simple things though... She would need it spelled out for a 6th grader.

  I would really like it if Lost stopped asking for questions to be answered and did her own research. But, DON'T share your research with us Lost. Just enjoy the wisdom that the strange websites you visit provide (without sharing).

  I think Cofty should ignore Lost at all times. Lost doesn't do any critical thinking or reading of her own. Just demand answers and spout nonsense.

  On the flood, you are right on all those thoughts. They DO NOT make sense. Destroying the animals was dumb. It makes no sense for supposed all knowing god. A simple virus could have wiped out mankind and preserved the animals. It is silly to think that a magical god needed to use a water flood.
