  My Marking Talk

  back to august of 1988. my brother and i were the ones being marked.

  at the time, my father had clued us in that it was coming and had gotten a recording of it.

  are we not also obliged to act on wrongs being committed by a family member or members?

  Best information here: NEVER meet with them or do anything else that "validates" their position of power in the bOrg. Remember....these are not really servants of God, they are just guys who happen to go to church with your hubby. Think about it. Don't play THEIR game -- make them play YOURS.

  Can't possibly imagine what in h*ll your husband was thinking in ratting you out...what did he hope to gain? Sorry, but he's just plain weird for doing that. Sounds like he's more interested in getting sympathy from the eldumbs than in getting love and affection from his wife. Not sure how you feel about him but his actions say Idiot.

  Protect your children at all costs and never, ever let them be involved in this eldumb craziness -- including this trumped-up drama nonsense about celebrating holidays. Play the lawyer card and play it fast, even if you don't have one. The threat should be enough to send them running away.

  Congratulations on living life with your kids! Keep up the great parenting job.

  i saw seven the other day - the girls on one side the men on the other.

  a couple fo them were drinking their starbucks.. so for every hour, 7 of "preaching" can be counted.

  Punk, I heard a very timid little knock on my door last weekend, and when I looked out a window a bit later I saw two very sheepish girls (who may have been extras on the television show Little House on the Prairie) taking doors while a creepy-looking older man waited at the curb, then followed them down the street where he again waited while they (barely) knocked on doors. 3 in one little group, maybe now the young sisters need chaperones here in a sunny vacation town (have to watch out for those angry tourists chasing after dubbie girls, right?).

  No apathy carts around, but then that's only the second time I've seen jdubs doing "regular" door-knocking in about six years.

  Wannabe free, I've had the tight pants song and memories of this video stuck in my head ever since I saw that Tony mentioned tight pants again...and here you go, giving me another reason to be singing it around the house.   Simon made the point that the value of this website is not determined by whether or not folks within the bOrg/Bethel happen to visit. Confirming that would mean absolutely nothing so why waste the time.

  newbie to site looking for fellow DF's and DA's (or anyone else who has good conversation to offer)

  i am new to the site.

  i started perusing it this weekend and wish i had found it 10 years ago when i was on my way out.

  anyways, long story short, was df'd for you guessed it...fornication or "loose conduct" even though i had been a pioneer with an elder father, grandfather and uncle and no previous issues.
