  Snitchers?

  i read a few apostate books during my research as a jw...after confessing in private to a best friend that i'd read them i got snitched on and they ran and told the elders....prats!

  this led to a judicial and a 6 month probation, wasnt allowed to do carpark duty (sobs) or michrophone duty (baawl) for 6 months nor could i answer up at meetings which led to tongue wagging, could go on doors though... a bit strict huh.. also know of a 6 year old who handed in her dad for speaking to apostates!

  you know - being just a newbie here i have to say that even though many of you have been mentally put off balance (just like me!!

  ) that you all sound really nice and i want to be a part of this so much - it blows my mind..... one thing that i found very hard to deal with was the abuse that my two sisters went through at the hand of my uncle a jw.

  the family covered it up and that man is still serving in another congregation - every time i see him with young children around him i feel sick.....i think he should have been removed!

  i've met about 75-90 in england, and roughly 500 all together...and then there's a few i've corresponded with who i havent met.

  Prisca your not doing too bad, for the first 2 years I was out I hardly met any exjw, by the third year I had met about 30 ish. It grows and grows till you lose count.

  i just worked a 10 hr shift at the restaurant.
