  Hmmm,

  I wasn't aware that people were not allowed to pray for DF'd family members..

  You learn something new every day..

  How sad!!! But, at least it's a baby step in the right direction..

  Maybe the Dec 1, 2002 WT will have an article saying that as long as you meet in privte, as to not stumble others in the congregation, it is ok to spend some time with DF'd relatives, so you can observe if they are repentant or not..

  Let's pray, maybe the GB is lightening up.. Who knows, maybe the 10 years they spent with the "beast" is softening them a bit <hehe>..

  I take this as a good sign for all you apostates out there...

  i'm extremely confused by the answers in some of your posts.

  you keep refering to "new light" and have also explained why the wtbts has made errors along the way, even though it has caused the "stumbling" of thousands.

  your logic makes sense except for 1 questions that continues to go through my mind.. although all of god's messengers, apostles, disciples, etc.

  Lefty, do you have any idea as to WHY we salute the flag? I'll give you a clue, we don't idolize it..

  For all the 'sane' people reading this.. I wonder what group comes to mind when you think of definition #2 or #3 above? Could it be.. Naw, it cannot be.. They don't idolize anything, do they... Naw, nah.. Say it ain't so... Errrr.... Does not compute... Danger Will Robinson.. Danger Danger... Errrr.. Maybe they really are being "blinded by the light"...

  No, you are correct, Lefty.. You don't have the privilege of Jesus' apostles... You have the better priviledge of God himself, after all, you are God's spirit directed organization! Aren't you?

  I guess the Channel of communication between the F&DS and God has a few loose wires..

  I once asked my friend to tell me what is in 'stone' in your organization, and cannot be changed.. What doctrines exist that you know are 100% true.

  He, after much thought, said Jehovah can supply us with "new light" on anything, I guess..

  I then said, hmm, what happens if Jehovah one day says, "Hey, let's all drink this kool-aid together, ok?" (Referring to the cult that killed themselves of course)

  His reply was an angry, "That cannot happen".

  I said, why not, is there anything not cast in "stone" that cannot get re-adjusted..

  He said, no, but that would never happen. Jehovah would never say that!

  I said, so at that point you would know it wasn't from Jehovah, but from mere men giving at best a "bad interpretation" of what Jehovah wants, and at worst, just guessing what Jehovah wants.

  He never did respond to that question, but started to shake instead..

  You want to try that one, Lefty? At what point to do realize that you are following men, and not Jehovah?

  I have but one question for you here.. It has been stated that there have been articles in the past few years in the Awake! magazine supporting UN activities.. In fact, some of the people on this very board who were then active witnesses stated that they were confused about the organization portraying the UN in a good light in those articles..

  I'm sure PEOPLE here will be good enough to post some of those Awake! articles for us all to see. With that being said, explain to me how that is NOT moral support of the UN's activities, at the very least??

  You Know:

  If the "legal" department was indeed the reason for becoming an NGO, wouldn't that suggest that there was a violation in Jehovah's Theocratic order?

  Why would the legal department be heard over Jehovah's wishes, as would come from the F&DS slave? Why would the GB allow that to happen? If the GB didn't know about it, and more importantly didn't approve it, how can you trust anything coming from Brooklyn any longer? How do you know what happens from now on is a result of the "spirit directed organization via the F&DS" or the direction of mere men?

  How can this happen in God's organization? God set up that theocratic order himslef, according to your magazines...

  Excellent article..

  Anyone want to take a wager with me on how long it will take the WTBTS to publish this in one of their Watchtowers explaining here is scientific evidence as to why it's soooo hard to show people the truth, be more persistent, and show more love and patience etc.. etc.. etc.. <G>..

  hypocrite organization "disassociates" from the un.

  they will come to your door soon, and they will bear in hand a magazine that warns you about "'religious hypocrisy".
