  MAJOR UN/WTS NEWS- UN LETTER & 1992 Press R...

  as of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.

  and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .

  after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

  BTW: EXCELLENT JOB WITH THE UN BROCHURE!!!! Wonder what the spinmeisters in NY will think up next? Remember, they are the one's that are lying, so no matter what they say, as long as it isn't true, we can expose them!!!!

  BTW: For all you lurkers out there, until the WTBTS comes clean and confesses, not only are they lying to you R&F members, but they are not repentant, and hence will ALL be judged as such!!!! Do you want to stay associated with your 'mother' whom isn't repentant? After all, remember, they say that children will be judged with their parents... YIPES.. Kinda worrysome, isn't it.........

  Some thoughts on the "library card" d...

  with its "library card" defense, the wts tries very hard to minimize the significance of their relationship with the un.

  according to the wts, this was actually a very trivial association, analogous to obtaining a library card - something very non-political, and something most of their members will relate to (as library card holders) and view as quite innocuous.

  most jws will have no difficulty dismissing this completely out of hand.. also, without actually lying about it, the wts implies that the "criteria for association" changed.

  Excellent point..

  I think the smoking gun is exactly as you point out here!!!

  A few of the people here had stated that they always wondered about the articles in the Awake! painting the UN in a good light..

  If there are any active JW's out there that had similiar questions, if they find out about this UN association, and the need to 'publish UN stuff' to keep the association, then they may really start to question the "library card" issue...

  Excellent idea, we should certainly follow up on this one!!!!

  If you can, scan all the articles.. I'd love to see them!!!

  Hi Lookin,

  If that is the case, and there is NO justification for being involved with the UN, why doesn't the WT come clean with it's R&F..

  If they don't, aren't they propigating a lie to the R&F, and in that case, just as guilty as the brothers that associated in the first place???

  After all, if what you say is true, and there is no defense for them associating in the first place, and the WTBTS doesn't come clean, aren't they practicing a sort of "Theocratic Warfare Strategy" on their very own followers?

  I would love to see a scan of the actual letter (in picture format).. Also, if we could see a scan of the envelope that it came in, so we can quill any comments that this is NOT a valid document from the WTBTS..
