  women protest drinking dens, demand sex nairobi (reuters) - a group of women stormed a kenyan police station to demand officers either make love to them or close illegal drinking dens they said made their husbands impotent, a local newspaper reported wednesday.

  the people newspaper said the women, from kandara, north of nairobi, brought business in the town to a halt with their day-long protest against excessive drinking by their menfolk.

  WT uses a Double Standard??????????

  for an honest hearted person here is very little that upsets them like a double standard one rule for me and another for you.

  for any current jw who may read this ask yourself , why would the society commend these folks for their actions and yet df you for doing the very same thing.

  i have stated on many occasions that the writing dept often times writes excellent articles and this on in my opiion is no exception.

  Good post JT,
  The double standards are clear for all to see.Congratulating some on challenging their own church's teaching but woe betide any witness who expresses doubts about the 'Truth' (tm).The same can be true when they encourage others to seriously examine their own religion for fault finding but balk at anyone whi is negative about the WT's teaching.
  Hypocrisy of the worst order and more blatantly so for it's premeditation .

  why is it that even though your not disfellowshipped or dissasociated and you start questioning the things you thought where truth about the org.

  your so-called family members avoid you like the plague?.i find it quite comical to see how different they treat you, leaving the "truth" and keeping your mouth shut they can handle, but once you start questioning the so-called faithful and discreet slave, all hell breaks loose !!!

  i,ve been accused of being anti-witness,apostate (which i dont mind) and been told that i,ve spat in the face of jah all because i have openly expressed my opinions about the org.

  ever since i departed the jw`s, i have pooh - pooh`d the idea of satan, devils, demons, witches and warlocks and laughed at jw paranoia re smurfs and demonised objects etc etc.. just recently, i have had some thoughts as to why jw`s are so obsessive about this subject, suppose that:.

  what if the jw religion were itself of satanic origin?

  consider the facts:.

  Joelbear,
  The argument of JW's used to be that the demons would leave you alone when you became a JW,so it would be difficult for them to criticise you if after leaving the JW's the demons stopped harassing you.
  However,a few did seem to show signs of mental illness and I wonder if the WT routine had anything to do with this ie: the continual guilt trip.

  The points that you raise are valid,and don't forget those cheeky subliminal images which appear in certain publications .The idea of a counterfeit copy of Christianity as satanic inspired has been in Christianity for centuries (wheat and the weeds).
  However,old nick dropped a real clanger in choosing JW's,couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery without changing the drinks back and forth in a flip flop fashion
  But you are right with the demonic stories they are petrified about them and as for the glazed expression,that has always been de rigeur.

  some of the kings of the earth and their supporters are aware of what the bible book of revelation says concerning the time of the end and their destruction for not having acknowledge jehovah's rulership and sovereignty, also they have failed to acknowledge jesus as king of kings and lord of lords in subject to the great king jehovah god.. the scriptures have put satan's system on notice but few take notice.
