Someone at WTS hacking me?

did someone at wts attempt to hack me today?

i don't know, but here is the summary from my event log and domain trace.

this afternoon i received an "alert" on my firewall with an ip address.

If you have a firewall they display the originating IP address. You can then go to a reverse lookup site. I have one bookmarked but can't remember the name If you go to Google and just type in reverse DNS lookup, they will give ya hundreds of sites to go to.

As for being on a site and getting alarmed, that is a bit harder to find with my settings. My virus scanner is different than my firewall, so sometimes a virus will slip through my firewall, and McAfee will pick it up.

As a side note on the hackers at bethel, I did email Joel Gott and he replied with an answer for me. I was not satisfied with that answer, but do not want to state publicly what it entailed. Amazing if you want to email me we can share some info. I suggest you do email Joel first though

i've just been looking back over some of the old posts and remembering some of the people we have had on the forum, been friends with and now miss.. one of the down-sides of running a place like this is that it becomes harder and harder to really 'get to know' many of the new ones like it was at first and i'm often working on the system and seeing so many names that they sometimes almost become a blur.

sometimes i see a post by a name i don't recognise and they've already made 100+ or so posts !.

many people are bound to move on eventually (although we're lucky to have a good bunch of 'regulars') and it's unfortunate that some are put off posting by personality clashes (possibly mine!

I miss Amicus too

I spoke to Logical not long ago...he/she is doing wonderful! He wants to put the Watchtower behind him and move on with his life. I am really glad he is one person I drew closer to, I wish I had more time to visit with him.

I know there are more I miss, the old regulars are pretty well still here though. Simon, I know what you mean about seeing a fairly "new" poster with 100 posts already. Also I find myself looking at fairly new ones who are already Jedi's haha, it took me forever to reach Jedi and that was before the posting limit. There is def more talking going on, also a varied amount of topics.

I also complained of wedgies, my friend suggested I try thongs. They are pretty uncomfortable for the first few days, but once you get used to them, they are WAY more comfy than normal panties. As for wearing thongs and associating them with sexuality, I don't buy that. I have a wide variety of plain colored ones, and don't feel anymore sexual when wearing thongs. As for underwear in general there are many "granny panties" that are dolled up with lace and such that are more sexual enticing than regular thongs. Please peeps don't confuse this issue, by generalizations.

As I said, I don't agree with the comments made on them, that is just sick! I also noticed that when clothes shopping for my daughter there are many clothes, short tees and such that have these types of sayings on them. "Babe" Hottie" "Kiss this" depicting a pair of lips etc, and all of them marketed for preteens. Where is the outcry there? Honest I had a hard time choosing some summer clothes for Miranda that didn't make her look like a hootchie mama.

but now she's gone ...... from breast cancer a couple of years ago.

we prayed and prayed to jehovah in jesus' name: the "ask anything in my name" jesus.

we asked jehovah, not to cure her miraculously, because that's what people pray for in tent revival meetings.

I am so sorry for your loss. As for the Shrine etc, I am not familiar with those teachings. My suggestion to you is to do whatever you must to ease your heart. There are many ways to heal, and this is just one of them. Good luck on your journey.

Whispering so I don't get stomped on Minus the verbage on the front, I would let my * 8* year old wear thongs. I have no problem with that. As D8TA says, it is just underwear Personally I find thongs MUCH more comfy than granny panties. I also have given her some of my silky hand me downs, she wears to bed and loves them. It feels good to feel feminine once in awhile. Now, before you jump all over me, I don't pass along the risque ones, but silky slips she just adores.

As for the "eye candy" comments BLAH! There is no sense in that.

LOL How did I miss this thread? haha I agree with Ashi, I like some and others leave my mouth hanging open. There really is not much he won't say. I had a friend send me the new CD and most of it is good. "My dad's gone crazy" has Haley singing in it. I am just hoping that little girl doesn't hear all that her daddy says. That thought alone is shocking.

this morning we published a very moving story written by a jehovah's witness whose 15-year-old son died supporting the watchtower's society blood policy.

to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time a jw parent has gathered up the courage to face down this monstrous policy after losing their child.

this is a very special person indeed and when we finally gather enough of these folks together and set them in front of the right attorney, the wts will be in for some serious litigation.. at present mary is in the midst of divorce from her jw husband and nailing down a custody agreement, so the identity of her and her son must remain anonymous.

There is no denying that this child needed blood, since he recieved several units. There is also no doubt he hampered the Dr's decisions and ability to administer the blood. Not only did he verbally convey this, he I am sure(not a fact) was carrying a No Blood card. In a trauma case, all measures are used, if the Dr's were limited due to the above factors, they may have delayed giving the blood until they reached the family. He may have died anyway, there is no telling. But the fact is he did refuse, and this may have caused a delay in treatment.

I see no harm in AJWRB publishing this info. I can see the points made by Path and Hawk here. But all parents need to realize as Dung said, trauma cases are not the same as pre planned surgeries. They need to face the horror of what can happen if there is a delay in treatment.

Are women naturally "Bi" ?

actually a friend of mine, alex, (who hopefully might read this and commence posting on this board) has been insisting for 20 years that women are naturally bi sexual.

i laughed at his claims.. but now, looking around here, and based on numerous group chats ive had with women on this site, there seems to be some evidence that his theory is correct.

Well since I am really BI I will comment on this thread. I have always been attracted to woman. I have never entertained the idea of having a relationship with a woman though, I like men too much I have never made the mistake of hitting on a woman who wasn't interested. I have had a few who experienced their first encounter with me, but they admitted to having the tendency long before I came along As for being in a relationship and having bi tendencies(what the hell does that means anyway[;))] Tom actively encourages this side of me. We even comment on woman when we see a particularly attractive one. It is funny driving down the road, we both are booty shopping haha.

For those who flirt with other woman, they are just one step away from an actual sexual encounter with one. They have entertained the idea and are just testing the water so to speak. If they thought it was turn off they would never respond IMO. Of course I have found on the internet that not is all that it appears. I just can't imagine myself talking about a subject that revolts me. So again IMO those who do flirt are more likely to follow through then ones who do not. All they need is an aggressive female OH Mango

Honestly though, I have met bi woman who I haven't been attracted to, so that in no way diminishes my bi~ness. And there are straight woman who I have drooled over, and could tell straight off they were not interested. I guess what I am trying to say is that it all depends on the person and your attraction to them. So I guess in answering your question, some woman are naturally bi. I believe others have this desire and need some encouragement to follow through with it. Getting rid of the stereotypes and years of sexual frustration as dubs takes some time though. Openly flirting about it, helps some to at least entertain the thought, and get past some of the stereotypes associated with this.
