  FIREPHIM

  At the end of 1992, the International Federation of Religious and
  Philosophical Minorities (styled FIREPHIM) was registered in
  Strasbourg. FIREPHIM was founded by Scientology and is headed by the former president of Scientology in France.

  FIREPHIM is an alliance of cults which also seeks to gain credibility by including genuine religious minorities. With FIREPHIM Scientology hasjoined together the Moonies, the Children of God, the Jehovah's Witnesses, Le Patriache (associated with Lyndon LaRouche), the Raelians and the witchcraft organization Wicca Occidental.
  Scientology has been sharing its techniques with the Moonies for some years. It seems highly likely that under Scientology's tutelage, other cults will develop aggressive public relations, litigation and intelligence strategies. This is already evident in cases brought against the Children of God (or Family of Love) throughout the world. The evidence is clear: leader "Moses" David Berg has frequently recommended the sexual abuse of children from birth onwards. Berg's followers are known for "flirty fishing" - the use of prostitution to recruit. So far, the Children of God have been largely successful in their defense. In Australia, for example, legal moves to put the children in the custody of the state have thus far failed.

  Men and Women are SOOOOO different....

  men and women are different.

  i was watching the deutsche bank open golf tournament with my hubby on saturday.

  tiger woods was playing.

  as we developed socially the traditional role for a man was to make and keep an area around the village safe and to do everything necessary outside this area. women on the other hand, did everything inside the safe zone. thay make the culture work and are the caregivers.

  here is a look at how it might work today

  non-JWs

  daughter: dad and mom i'm pregnant.

  mom: oh, what will the neighbors say?

  dad: well, i can call the insurance company and make sure the baby will be covered.

  the mather's concern is social.
  the farther's concers is providing

  men and women aren't that hard to understand if you know there perspectives and what men/women are trying to accomplish.

  reading your posts here and on h20, it's obvious to me that you have some exceptional qualities of insight.

  could it be that it is this insight that prompted you and others to believe that you were of the "anointed"?

  But, what led me to believe I was anointed was that when I read the Bible, I applied it to me as a follower of Jesus Christ. So, when I arrived at verses talking about the spirit of sonship, etc. I connected with it. What was actually happening was not really a JW thing, but more of a normal aspect of being a Christian.

  ya, it is a christian thing.

  staying in the JWs would have resulted in greater personal gain.

  will you plese tell us more about the personal gain? i think alot of people close there eyes to that kind of thing.

  The Amazing Disappearing Father!

  hi hope you can help.. what is disassociation?

  is it why despite a recent reestablishment of communications with my dad has dissolved into stilted telephone conversations and a request for me not to contact him?.

  he and his family have been jw's for ten years, and although it hasn't been the closest of relationships in that time it has not reached this level before.. i have never been in the jw's and had never thought that they would promote the cutting off of family.

  i ask you who are willing to post your best "dangereous cult in your neighborhood" or what ever you think would have the bigest impact as a flyer. maby if you could list key points i could put together a few "litters to the editor". "sound bites" are important even in print.

  what happens if someone actually takes the bible serious?

  really acts upon its message?

  history have provided us with many examples of this and the watchtower societies second president personally had one particularly spectatcular go at it.. the watchtower society second president j. f. rutherford was in a hurry to get the new system going while he was still alive.
