Last Days ? for ALL BIBLE BELIEVERS
by JT infor many of us who were perhaps like myself - a dyed in the wool society man/woman and very strong supporter of the "last days concept".. i have a question,-- below is just an example of the 14th century-.
can you name anytime in history since the day jesus and paul introduced the dogma of the last days where those who called themselves christians didn't believe that they were the ones who were suppose to get the fullfillment of the last days dogma?.
has there any been a time say in 800ad or 1215ad, etc---- where those who were believers taught that the last days would come not in thier time but further down the road long after they were dead and gone?.

the Catholic Encyclopedia;
[quote] The kingdom of god means, then, the ruling of God in our hearts; it means those principles which separate us off from the kingdom of the world and the devil; it means the benign sway of grace; it means the Church as that Divine institution whereby we may make sure of attaining the spirit of Christ and so win that ultimate kingdom of God Where He reigns without end in "the holy city, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God" (Apoc., xxi, 2). Who gave the JWS a bad name?
by Monster inthis is something i have been thinking about for a while.
xjws survivors tell us, when they were being sexually abused by members from their own khs, and they reported the abuse to the elders all they got in return from elders was, "wait on jehovah he will set matters straight" .
now i can't for the life of me figure out why didn't at least one elder reason that , jehovah was leading the victims to the elders so they could receive justice he was trying to set matters staright.

Monster,
See, I couldn't make myself clear, I know you weren't talking against men like Mr. Bowen. I only meant to point out what happens to you as an elder if you take a stand. It's not an easy thing to do and we can see what happens to an elder who stands on his own moral convictions when we look at Mr. Bowen's struggle for the children.

Islamic Jehovah Witnesses
by Rado Vleugel inthis article is not really about jehovahs witnesses, but it is interesting to see that the writer compares jehovahs witnesses with islamic fundamentalists (i have made the sentences bold)

Hay breeze,
I've been involved with the witness for 29 years. I am certain you are a fool of loose moral character who would have us believe that an act of violence is the only tool of a terrorist. fear is the tool, how that fear is generated is irrelevant.LOL............ I read all 39 of your posts, TROLL.
Newbie you know shit and have all the compassion of a rock.

Monster,
I get the message loud and clear, I agree with your line of thinking. I am keeping close tabs on the ONE elder who did seek Justus for the children or the WT. let me tell you that's a long lonely road and only the strongest men can walk it. I believe conviction compassion and true leadership are qualities the Org. discourages in it's representatives (elders). As to making your self understood, I have dyslexia, and can relate to that too. Some people will stand in judgment of you, some will crack on spelling but don't let them silence you because this medium suits them better then it does you. speak your mind if we don't get it we'll ask for clarification, no big deal.
There are no elders here, if someone tries to control you by putting you down tell the fool to piss off and move on. I for one want to hear what you have to say.

I'm afraid I must disagree, I personally have witnessed WT representatives use terror to correct my farther.
Because the WT terrorizes it's own members does not change the definition of terrorist.
