Don’t flip out!!!!! This stuff has been going on for a long time, don’t rush a confrontation with your wife. I understand it is all so very overwhelming, believe me I was there big time. But if you rush head long into showing your wife, what a real and true cult she is in, she is likely to divorce you. She has programmed responses to any threat to her belief system. If you see her eyes glaze over when you are talking to her just stop, she has activated a defiance mechanism and is no longer capable of rational thought. She is going to tell the elders about your “talk”. The only advice I can give you is to remember you are the husband, in the eyes of the cult the head of the house and wife. Don’t be afraid to use your power. If you don’t want her talking to the elders, tell them you’re wife is not to have privet conversations with any man or men with if you are not there even if a sister is there. If they do it any way you can sue. The man or men, not the cult, If you sue an elder the cult will hang him out to dry. But if you sue the cult they will fight. However if you warn the elders first they should stop, unless they are dumber then dirt.

ABC and CBS annouced that the last known ww1 vet. died this morning. he was a navy man who reached the ripe old age of 105. there are no more WW1 vets. may god keep them in grace.

Why don't JW friends come over and say hello?

i always wondered why jw's didn't stop by to say hello, just to encourage or by friendship?.

but if i showed up at the hall, after many months, they would be happy to see me, and would come to talk to me, and ask what,s going on in my life as if they were really interested in me.

so, if they were happy to see me at the hall, why wouldn't they be happy showing up at my place too.. why is it that only the elders come over to see me once in a blue moon?.

what I have observed is that people who spy on each other can never really be friends. this i think might have been the sadest part for me.

where does their money come from??

ive read a number of times about the millions the watchtower are raking in tax free..since ive been led to believe that people are not charged for their magazines could somebody clarify this and explain where all this money comes from?

The WT is also in the loan sharking business. What they do is loan, with interest, local congregations the money to buy land and another loan to build or remodel a local hall. of course the WT owns the hall not the local congregations so in effect they are receiving interest on the loans, free property and when they sell, after the loan is paid off, pure profit. if they can convince the local to move to another location or remodel it all starts over again. I’m sure of this one my old man was an elder and he, my brothers and I are all in the construction industry. I have never been a JW (refused) and I never took part in a quick build. ( wouldn’t do anything for free or pay on an uninsured construction site) what if I were seriously injured? Stuff happens.

Saw My Mother!!!

i was on my way home today, and i passed my mother on the road.

tears came to my eyes immediately, just at the sight of her face.. i hate this religion.. but i love my mom.. i can't even remember, when the last time we spoke was.. i just want to sit down and talk to her, but i can't- i won't- because its her fault.

i left a religion, she left her son.

How do you say good-bye?

my doctor called me today and told me i have a very aggressive case of colon cancer.

i go back on monday for more tests and maybe surgery and chemo i don't know.

my partner is a total mess over this and he is all i have.
