My wife and I got called to the back room for reporting our car was stollen by an elder's son to the police. We were told we were not handling this problem theocratically. We told them too bad, he shouldn't have stollen the car.

Ridiculous trips to the 'back room'
by Esmeralda inthe posts in the elders meeting thread got me thinking about this, so i've spun it off for into another thread.. were you ever 'counseled' because "some" in the congregation were disturbed by things you said/did/listened to/watched?.
here is just some of the stupid stuff that the elders brought me in on.
though they were usually handled through shepherding calls, not in the back room at the kh.. 1: because i decided to change my first and middle names.

I think you are very correct:
if I see something that I think is incorrect, I will try to correct such regardless of whether the correction is pro or con the WTS. It is my sincere belief that short term gains via erroneous info later leads to longterm loses
It's good when others speak up when something is not correct, we don't want to be bogged down with a bad case of GROUP THINK.
I feel there alot more we can accomplish this way.
We don't need a bunch of YES-MEN to rubber stamp everything. -

Mailing Postcards as Aposed to Letters?
by Winston ini have recently sent out about 60 postcards($.25 each) to the jw's notifying them of the wtbs being a ngo of the un.. the entire postcard was used up, with some of the information in bold print, and underlined points made to stand out.. included were the un internet site address,telephone #, for verification and breif explanation of what is required of a ngo.. granted there is not very much room for information, but it may have a pluss side to it, because jw's are instructed to not open and read apostate material, they may be more likely to read some thing they don't have to open, and more than one family member may read it?.
some of the postcards i put my return address and some just my initials(depending of past mailings responses).
i figured just putting my intials on some, may cause them out of curiousity to read it to see if they can figure out who sent it.. any observations, or pointers?

we all know for a fact that 95% of jw's do care - so much - that they endure mosquitoes, heat, cold, fire ants, rabid dogs, loss of personal income, spend their free time dedicated to helping others, and much much more to help assholes who hate them to help save their lives.. please - do not carry anger towards these people, because we were once like them (blind.
) it is not their fault they are wrong - because at one point in time we were all like them.

You make some valid points.
I don't feel any ill will towards JW's, I still have family that are JW's.My only wish is to free them from Mind Control, and I'll do what ever I can to acomplish that.
It may require some measures that some may concider borderline, but each one has to make up their own mind about tactics to use to free loved ones from dishonest men's manipulation. -

Tornado almost got me yesterday :(
by bboyneko ingeez, this is friggin maryland, we never get tornados..anyway at around 5:30pm (quittin time at work) i got notified that a tornado had touched down in college park, (my college, university of maryland college park) and had killed 2 people already and was headed directly in our path, it would arrive in like 10 minutes.. i went outside and it was black..the funny thing was you could see very clearly where the black ended and see clear sky right after that border.
the clouds where movin fast.
i talked to saffron online and told her to grab the kitty cats and head for a basement.

Fact finding for You Knows Apostasy!

let make beleive that this post is headed by elders from you know congregation, and they have heard rumors about you know apostasy, but before they can get a committee together the need solid facts that you know is truly an apostate.. the poster can play either the part of elders who are investigating, or that of a loyal jws bringing facts to the elders attention about this matter.. i think this could be fun, or i maybe totally wrong and nobody wants to play this game.. we might even get enough facts together to form a committee and disfellowship him (in our game).
i'll defend your right to say it, but it doesn't mean i beleive it.
