  This is Worf. Your story is very interesting to me because during my fade from the watchtower, I went through a similar situation as you are going through. I was married also to a regular pioneer for 14 years. We had no children but I was also an elder for the entire decade of the 90's. Elder and regular pioneer wife. During my fade the congregation elders turned her against me. She had even gone to the elders and told them I was reading "apostate" books and looking at apostate websites. I came home one day and she was gone. The next time I saw her was 3 years later in divorce court.

  Your situation is different because you have a son and your love for your son. I would be furious in your situation. As someone on this thread advised you earlier: GET AN ATTORNEY! DO NOT LET THAT SO -CALLED BROTHER SPEND ANY TIME WITH YOUR SON.

  Its a power game. They love having the influence and power over others. They believe they have carte blanche because of supposedly being god's people. DO NOT LET THEM. Strike now. get an attorney and either sue or have some legal papers drawn up that prohibit him from being with your son. Use the watchtower pedophile problem as something you are concerned about if necessary, but see an attorney and have something legal to threaten that so-called brother and the elders and/or congregation with. As someone said earlier, they are trying to do an end run around you. Remember, they love drama. Especially in "the name of Jehovah". For your situation right now: "The best defense is a good offense." GO ON THE OFFENSE NOW! In hindsight when I look back on my situation which was 15 years ago, I would have gone to an attorney when my intuition first sparked me and I would have used that against the elder body or any individual who was influencing the injustice I went through So take the advice of all who have posted here and go on the offense in some way. They are trying to keep you upset to the point where you will be so upset that you are stifled. Take action now. Something. Believe me. I know. I won out in the end, but it could have been sooner if I had not underestimated them. You can still shock them now and win out now. If you take action. Now. Feel free to contact me through this forum by e-mail. I recognize their tactics from reading your story.

  and they left the congregations, would you then feel open to be thier friends?.

  many on here have the same complaint, that in the jw congregations, there were clickes, no one had time for each other,.

  people judged, there was a lack of association, freindship , true concern and love were lacking.

  for the ones based in britain only the "few" were invited to attend the agm .they received their new grey bible and the rumor was that the new bible will not be available for the rest of the congragations until january .it was confirmed tonight .a letter was read as local announcement that the new bibles will not be available until the end of january for the rest of the congragation .all the in crowd were sat there with their new flashy bible looking smug.also the bible reading was read from the new bible to make it all the more obvious ..... the real aftermath of agm....

  As has been alluded to in some of the previous posts in this thread, this whole new bible thing, with some of the rank & file being excluded or being delayed in being able to obtain the new bible, is nothing more than an age old mind-control technique that the borg is using to try to inspire some passion in the tired and bored rank & file, who despite all the evidence that shows them the borg has bamboozled them the entire time they have been in, are still afraid to leave. The shameless borg pulled the same crap with that big green history book they released back in the late 1980's. When it was first released, only witnesses who had been in for a certain amount of time ( or something like that ), got the book first. I remember because my parents were among those who got the book first. They had been witnesses since the 1930's. This latest tactic with this new bible, with some people being held back from obtaining it right away etc. is nothing more than a way to try and put in the minds of the rank & file who didn't get the bible right away, that they were missing out on something and that being in the borg is really worth something. OOOOOHHHHH! , AAAAHHHH!

  as most of us know, the society is spending 10's of millions of dollars on a giant, state of the art, secluded bunker country club headquarters in very remote, isolated warwick ny.. the question that "some" have is, why?

  if armageddon is coming "very soon", why go to all that time & effort & expense?

  why have thousands of jws dedicating their time to this massive effort instead of the "lifesaving ministry"?.

  I was thinking of the same book "The Nations Shall Know That I am Jehovah-How?, that you have referenced, as I was reading this thread. That is a book that shows the "delusions of grandeur" that this cult has of ruling the world. Thanks George for referencing that information. Fortunately, there are other forces on this planet that will keep their delusions of ruling this world from coming to fruition.

  i would like to see what you think about these questions when compared with your account.. why people from different backgrounds feel similar reactions?

  When I read the chapter "Double Standards" in Crisis Of Conscience, that chapter by itself solidified for me that I had been bamboozled all of my life. Some tears came because of realizing how the gb exploited the jws in Malawi for their own selfish, wicked and evil purposes. And I remembered the news articles about Malawi that were read at the meetings.
