I've been away for about a year. Was signing on when Dateline story ran and left shortly thereafter. Have been wondering if any new doctrines or anything have occurred with the JWs in the past year. Especially in view of the war and President Bush alluding to the instability of the United Nations.

I GOT A NEW JOB!!!!
by writerpen insince i can't call my former friends and family, you guys are the first to hear this good news in my life.
i've just been offered a local government job that will increase my salary greatly.
since i've been out of the borg, i have recevied more blessings than i ever did.

Hey, I'm a publisher again
by RunningMan inlast night, i returned from the chess club with my son to find my wife on the phone.
apparently the congregation secretary had phoned to get our time.
not wanting to disappoint him, she put us both down for two hours.. now, none of us have stepped foot in a kingdom hall since april 10, and we haven't been out in service since march/01.

Since I've been out of the Borg, I have recevied more blessings than I ever did. I'm already into my classes toward a college degree and now this new job. I'm even chaning my image too, with new clothes, glasses, and the such. A witness my whole life and I never knew what it meant to enjoy life.

Dream of Going Back
by professor ini awoke from sleep about a half hour ago from a dream in which i returned to the witnesses.
i had become so upset from losing my family and friends that i decided to return and seek reinstatement even though secretly in my heart i did not believe (i was trying to fool the elders).. i awoke from the dream with illusions of actually following through with this idea.
it took me about 5 minutes to arrive at reality.

This is weird. I woke up this morning from a similar dream as well. I was sitting in the KH during the Ministry School and I had forgotten to get my talk together (they had me on the schedule even though I was DF). Anyway, I'm dressed in jeans and looking through the notes and trying to get my little number 3 part (you know, as a woman, I'm too stupid to do any of the other parts) together. An elder comes to me and asks me about the part and I told him that I wasn't going to do it and that they would have to handle it for me. Then I left - happily. But waking up from that does give you a weird feeling. I think this happened because an Awake had been left in my door sometime yesterday. I'm new to this neighborhood, so they don't know I'm df.

COFFEE OVERDOSE!!!

i've only had about ten cups of coffee in my entire life (i'm 30 now).
last night i didn't get to bed until 2:30 a.m. so i was dragging about an hour ago.
