how can all of you say that you are disgusted etc when you dont know any thing about the organisation?.
im sure you didnt really worry before but now you are all acting upset etc.. i stress to say that it is accusations not fact.. i am 16 and found the program annoying in the fact that we were portrayed completely wrong.. the bbc could say what they liked.. i think that people should be more sincere and less assuming.. thanks, mark

And, no, I wasn't baptised until 2 days after my 17th birthday - but I did put in pioneer hours over the summer months and regular auxilary pioneered back when the hour requirement meant something - these kids these days have it easy! (I'm 23)

So, if your dad really IS an elder, ask him:
Why was the Watchtower a member of the UN for most of the 90s?
Why did the Watchtower backtrack on the 'generation prophecy' (RE: that those who witnesses the events of 1914 would be alive when Armegeddon came)?
Why does the Watchtower rely on 607 BCE as the foundation of 'the Lords's return' in 1914, when it knows full well Jerusalem DID NOT fall in 607?
Why has the Society started to back off on the blood issue? (did you get a blood card this year? Have you read the new 'Worship' book released at this years convention and compared it to the old 'Worship' book?)
One final question: WHY does the Society maintain a database of known pedophiles in the org AND NOT TURN IT OVER TO THE POLICE?!?!?
