  What do women REALLY want?

  ok, i've heard it all: sincerity, honesty, security, money, love, romance, flowers, poems, promises, and more.

  but, in my arguably limited experience, i've been shot down while doing all of these (at differnt times obviously).

  so, what do women really want?

  They want the opposite of me I can tell you that. A "bad boy" who treats them shitty. It really chaps my ass.

  Women do not want to be treated shitty. How many times do we have to tell you this? We want to be treated as equal adults. We want confident men with a backbone. Some women are attracted to men who end up treating them shitty. That's not the same thing as saying women want to be treated shitty. I've said this many times on JWD.

  For some reason some men just like to think women want to be treated like crap and don't like nice guys. Maybe it makes them feel better, dunno.

  Instead of trying to figure out what women want, figure out what you want. Then just enjoy your life and the people who come in and out of it and maybe you will run across someone who wants the same things you do. And if you don't then you are still having a good time.

  my friend is an up and coming jw recruit.

  not baptized, but high-stepping in that direction.. any way... she lives a small rural town and she has to go to a neighboring town to a kh.

  she recently asked her jw guru if there would be a kh built in their own town any time soon.

  There are some intolerant churches out there but most of the ones I have been to could care less what other churchs are build around them. I really can't imagine all the local churches massing against the dubs. More likely they want to build in a neighborhood and the association doesn't want a church there.

  when a party on the telephone asks you for the number of some other business?

  this happens to me constantly, and, it drives me nuts!!!!

  it's like, hey, i've got my own work to do..........how's about dialing the local information line?

  I don't mind helping most of the time. If I'm to busy I just say I'm sorry I don't know the number. I've asked people for help myself in the past...play it forward tends to be my motto.

  What I don't like are the bill collectors who call our business line looking for someone who used to have this number. I've tried being nice, I've tried explaining they no longer have this number and to please take it off their list as it is a business, but they still keep calling. Now I just hang up.

  My wife loves me more than I love her

  i've dated several women that i had no emotional connection with.

  i began to think falling in love would never happen.

  Do you mind me asking, how do you measure love?

  I'm not sure I'm measuring it. Just lately it seems she is more willing to do things for me than I am for her. And you guys are right, I have been a little upset with myself. Lately it feels as if I haven't accomplished anything.

  I asked because I wondered how you were gauging her love vs yours. From some of the posts of yours I've read lately it appears you are going thru a rough spot financially. Men traditionally measure their love in how well they take care of their families, they are the hunters. Hence I couldn't help wondering if perhaps you are feeling like you are giving less love because of some of the financial problems ya'll are having. Maybe it just seems that way because of current circumstances. Or I could be totally off the mark.

  I think in every marriage, partners will be going through different stages. Right now you think she loves you more. Maybe another time it will be the other way.

  I agree with that totally. Relationships cycle. The key is just to keep on keeping on until the circle comes back around. I hope things look up for you soon.
