well, i actually went wild when i turned 21 and became inactive.

traditions of men = Governing Body. And, if what is coming out of the governing body is truly from Jehovah, is Jehovah then confused? How else would you explain all the change in JW doctrine over the years? And don't try the "new light" thing cuz I ain't buyin it.
and teach lies like the Trinity, Hell Fire, that we have an immortal soul, then I would certainly see that as a sign.

As for your accusation, I don't know where you get your information and why you would stoop so low as to say that all servants of Jehovah have molested or raped 6 year olds.
Gee- I read and then re-read Celia's post and I did not see the word ALL in it. hmmm. Seems like you may have become quite comfortable in your own religion's method of communication- add a word here, delete another there, switch some around and viola!, the statement now says exactly what you want it to. Adding the word "all" to what Celia actually said certainly changes the message doesn't it?
Of course, I understand your anger and that you are greatly exagerating for impact. But realize that Jehovah also hates child molestation and abuse. He is not blind to what is happening. I know that your faith in him is not strong enough to simply accept "wait on Jehovah", so see that really is the problem, your lack of faith.

There is no exaggeration in her statement. There are "servants of Jehovah" who have admitted to this. There are others who have been convicted of it in a court of law. Facts.
Why would anyone need to "wait on Jehovah" to do something about this abuse problem? I thought elders were appointed by Jah himself and the governing body was merely the mouthpiece by which to announce those appointments? Perhaps Jah's judgement with regard to the spiritual appointments of certain child abusing elders is lacking? Lack of faith? How is one to have faith in this? Maybe if Jah's organization was as clean in "truth" as you folks would like so desperately to believe, others wouldn't have such a hard time with having faith in it.

When I was married and my daughter was 7 months old- it was Valentine's Day. I came home from work and went up to our bedroom to change clothes. I was looking for my bathrobe and couldn't find it anywhere. I called down to my husband about it and he said it was downstairs, come down and get it. A bit annoyed, I still needed my bathrobe so I went downstairs to get it.
He told me it was in the bathroom. I opened the bathroom door and the entire room was filled with burning candles. There was a vase with a dozen roses sitting on the counter and a bubble bath waiting for me. Next to the tub was a stool with a glass of wine, my newspaper and a box of chocolates on it.
And the bathrobe? It wasn't in the bathroom after all. It was in the dryer so that when I decided to get out of my paradise it would be warm.
While I turned into a prune in the bathtub he made dinner and fed the baby.
Shoulda kept him eh? That's a different story

There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not an oncoming train and it's not Armaggedon either. All are heading for that light and some will get there sooner than others and they'll be in a place to be holding the lantern in the tunnel, continuing to show others the way out.

What makes someone valuable as a friend?
The best friendships I've had and the ones that have lasted the longest are the ones with folks whom I really matter to and I can feel that from them when I interact with them. And those folks also happen to be the ones who understand the human condition and give me room to screw up along the way or struggle aimlessly at times. And those folks know that I care about them enough that they get that in return. With those people, I know that when things are good, they are genuinely happy about it. I get directness and honesty from them and I give it in return.
They say that in crisis, you will find out who your true friends are. It is very true.
The best friends you can have are the ones you can "grow up" with along the way.

And then: Pumpkin Seeds!!!!!!!
Scoop all the seeds out of a pumpkin, rinse them, and let them dry. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over the seeds. Sprinkle with salt and toss. Spread the seeds on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until light brown.
