  Burning Bridges--a Bad, bad habit.

  one of the most important lesson an xjw needs to learn is how not to burn bridges.. what exactly does it mean to "burn a bridge" in the first place?.

  well, consider if you crossed a wide chasm suspended on a rope bridge and decided you would never need to go back.

  why not burn it?

  The mindset gives a person an excuse not to interact with folk, except on one's own terms. Which is what I think introverts look for anyway. Namely, a situation where they feel as though they have control and where they can avoid potential embarassment, discomfort or rejection.

  Very well said BB!!! And such a sad piece of shrapnel to carry on into the rest of life after JW.

  Just to set the record str

  i do not have a religion / i'm not a jehovah's witness( / i do not read from the wt bible / i only read from the king james version which infact in future times i planned on having gold covers / i do infact have plans to change the world for millions(sooner then ya think) / i wanna lived like noah, obey and become righteous and survive the impossible(armageddon) and that's what i plan on doing, cause i live forever, survive up to the messiah's coming / i lose people daily cause in reality we all are family / i lost some close family members while back that's why i posted that 9/11 topic, i been though rough times, all i was trying to do is help / i have'nt been to a kingdom hall or church in about 15 years / i study at home with my gf and we ask the father & son for help and the help is always there / i only hate evolution & science / there is a differance between science & man's work / i dont believe in the trinity, cause millions speak from their tongues that the trinity do exist, but the righteous servants of the lamb(prophet) understood that jesus was not god, therefore it's impossible for any man in our time to know more then jesus disciples / america is not the greatest, god's throne is the only greatest / times that are bad and times that are ignorant and times that are unrighteous we shall overcome it and for be'hold our loving creator create new heavens & a new earth wherein we lived and the future is bright and the wicked fall quick and the good ones us we are the children of the light that light forever and we stay and lived forever and the dead rise up to enjoy the new creation that the father hath made for us......edited by - legendary u.2.k.

  i have 5 kittens now they chillin with me now and i take care of them, i also dress them in small jerseys and they wear bandanna's,.. In the future tho, i plan on taking care of homeless pets, Get them off the streets and build a VERY VERY LARGE Kingdom right out here in California...

  I hope this project isn't going to get in the way of me getting my new hot-tub. Cuz you said yourself- it's all about fun! Hot-tubs are fun!

  Can I be first in line? Cuz I'd really like a hot-tub on my deck and it would be really nice if I got it soon.

  just when is that exactly? Next week? The week after? Cuz I have to buy some extra large towels to go with the hot-tub and it would be nice to know- should I wait for a sale at J.C. Penneys or run out to get them this week?

  poor tink had to be rushed to the hospital early this morning 2:00am.

  she went to bed fine but after several hours of pain and discomfort it got so bad she woke me up.

  she had severe chest pain and pain in the center of her shoulder blades.

  Something to Believe In ....

  as i watched all the coverage of the 9/11 tradgedy, i felt just a fraction of the grief that the families who lost loved ones that day.

  i shed tears, i lit candles , i even thought of praying.

  i just hoped that god would read my heart and would help me to find faith in him again.

  Short truth about 9/11, Truth hurts you know!

  " we are the cause of our destruction *(it's quoted different in the bible) / i believe that 9/11 was a bad day, we cry & mourn & move on, we get over it, i got over 9/11 in under 24 hours & to be honest i'm sick of hearing about it.... now i also understand that millions was not paying attention before 9/11 & they still aint paying attention.. if people would wake the hell up and read the bible they would already know that god already warn us to listen to him, and be on guard 24/7 cause that devil which we call satan exist and on the move to overthrow billions........ where is your faith?

  jesus clearly said that not to sorrow for the dead, cause they will get resurrected when the messiah comes back- john 5 verse 28,29.. so get over it and heed jesus words....
