how ironical it is that nato can't even get along together and agree on a common strategy, and on the other side terrorists like bin laden can join forces with iraq to fight against us.
about 13 years ago, the warsaw pact fell apart with the dismantling of the soviet union.
Do you think that this lack of cooperation between members of Nato marks an end to Nato as we know it?

It seemed during the Bosnia conflict, there was friction in the NATO alliance between France and the U.S.
The U.S. seemed to be chafed under the direction of other countries commanders, so one wonders if there is some resentment left over from that conflict.

last night on local news,(tulsa,ok) they warned of a terror attack before the end of the week.
urged us to stock up on bottled water and foods.

What is kinda spooky about this whole scenario. is how closely it parallels the story line on the show 24, with Keifer Sutherland.
My wife and I have been watching the show religiously on Tuesday nights. ( Takes the place of the Ministry School and Service Meetings )
The story line at this time is the US goverment trying to prevent a dirty bomb from being exploded over L.A by terrorists. It's a pretty gritty show, not for the faint of heart, but strikes close to home.
i am hereby, for the next 24 hours at least, swearing off all serious topics.
yesterday was a brain-fry day, what with the harassment stuff, a call from our medicaid lawyer regarding my mother's application (not good news), doing bills, and fleeing to the gym at lunch only to find out i've gained two pounds since last week.. today at lunch i am going shopping by myself.
i am going to my favorite resale/antique clothing shop down the street and see if i can find something eye-popping for the apostafest.
