How old was you when you learned to drive?

i've never passed my test, never needed to because i lived near the city and could get from a to b at the drop of a hat.

now living in a village it almost impossible to get anywhere so i am about to start taking lessons, at 39 i'm embarrassed and am dreading starting lessons.

what a wus huh.

i was just recalling the first few years when i was a well known apostate dub, a man of the world, an outcast to be shunned!.

back then, when i was still a familiar sight, before new dubs who did not recognise me came on the scene, i would often be ignored whilst in town shopping or even whilst imbibing a quick half in the pub.. i quickly realised that there wasn't much satisfaction in being on the receiving end of a snub, or, as h.g.

my son's birthday celebrated

just a short post to say that i feel really happy today.

my 19 yo son has had his birthday acknowledged and celebrated today for the first time in 13 years.. and it feels good for me as his mother to remind him every year, on the day he came into the world, that i consider from that day on, the best days of my life.

i cried as i wrote his card, thinking of all the wasted time in the borg, but now is the time to move on and start enjoying freedom.. so i just wanted to share this with people who i'm sure understand and share in the joy.. cheers,.

what a lovely dinner we had, grilled shrimp, chicken, rice with steamed veggies and salad.

then we had coconut cake & coffee for dinner!!!

blondie & irreverent showed up just as we started grilling.

OK I scored 85, and then thought that was waaay too high, so I went back and thought thru the questions a little more thoroughly, and ended up with 90.

LOL at Scully and Sphere. I'll bet after you've done that a few times, you probably don't see many jws any more if they see you first. They'd scatter like cockroaches when you turn the lights on.
